A three was drawn putting those running third in the heats at the front of the feature event, followed by 4th place finishers, heat winners and 2nd place finishers. Chadd jumped to the point with Brown and Masonbrink in tow. Gossel made a move forward, getting by Masonbrink for third. As the two lead machines entered dense lapped traffic, Mitchell exited on lap eight. At the halfway mark, R. Droud took Gossel to trail the lead pair when Gossels nose wing flipped up, affecting his handling. Two laps later, Brown made his winning move in traffic and held on through two cautions in the 25 lapper to take his second ESTS win at JMS this season. Gossel held on to fourth for much of the contest, but couldnt hold off the efforts of Peters, Danley, the hard-charger of the event, Humston and D. Droud. Roseland dropped out on lap 18 while running 8th. Snyder and Klabunde exited on lap 19. Masonbrink had a strong top ten run thwarted when he came to rest on lap 23.
