Meyer wrestled the advantage from Brown in the early going and led flag to flag. Logan was running strong when he lost a power steering pump and the oil line and had to retire. Anderson wrestled the final transfer from Walraven with two to go.

Droud shot to the point from the outset. Jeffrey, Antill, Henderson and Reinke vied for the final two transfers. Antill held down sixth until bobbling late in the race. Henderson took advantage and grabbed the final transfer.

The original start saw Agan get sandwiched between Vanderploeg and Madsen, ending up upside down in turn two. He was uninjured. Dobmeier led the distance. Moro did a nice job of moving up, while Madsen and Vanderploeg had a nice battle for fourth. Garner dropped out while in a transfer spot.

B main (started): 1. Logan (1) 2. Garner (4) 3. Reinke (5) 4. Walraven (2) 5. Antill (3) 6. Bell (6) / 7. Maurer (7) 8. Jones (8) DNS - Agan, Slinkard, Houseman

Garner contacted something, breaking his front end on the initial start. The following try saw pole-sitter Vanderploeg get black-flagged to the tail for jumping. Johnson inherited the pole and made the most of it, leading the distance. Reinke was threatening the top ten when he came to a stop on lap nine of 20. Johnson led Moro, Madsen, Henderson and St. Arnold back to green flag racing. Reinke rejoined at the tail. Moro exited at the same time with a broken torsion arm. Meyer also surrendered a top six run when he made repairs in the work area at the same time. Johnson led the rest of the way, though his win was only .2 seconds over Moro, who was coming on strong. Logan moved up nine spots, gaining hard-charger honors.

Alexander shot out to the early lead with Houseman Jr. in tow. Peters was challenging Houseman Jr. on lap two and set his sights on the leader. Walsh was running sixth when he lost his left front wheel and spun, resting on the turn one berm. He was done for the night. Alexander held off a surging Peters until the last second at the checkered flag, when Peters won a drag race down the frontstretch.

When Mason came down the track in turn two on the initial green, contact was made with Zomer, who flipped. Higday and Smith also got together. All would retire. Peters repaired a flat as did Kearney, who also replaced a top wing. Anderson led D. Hall on the restart, and began to pull away. Hesmer got a great start and was running second at the halfway point when he lost power and coasted to a stop. D. Hall assumed second behind Anderson who won his first career feature with authority. Lindquist was on the move and disposed of Ball to secure a solid third place run. Peters earned hard-charger honors going from 17th to 5th.
