Billy Alley set the pace (5th car out to time) in time trials with a clocking of 15.451 seconds. Jon Agan (1st car out) was second quick, followed by Chris Walraven (14th), Calvin Landis (29th), Justin Henderson (18th), Jesse Giannetto (9th), Brent Antill (11th), Skip Jackson (6th), Tim St. Arnold (12th) and Brian Brown (13th). Greg Jones went up in a puff of smoke in hot laps and scratched. Tyler Houseman was unable to get a lap in and scratched as well. The track dried quickly, due to a south wind of 20-30 mph.

Heat one (started): 1. Chad Meyer 1w (1) 2. Ricky Logan 10 (3) 3. Alley 22 (6) 4. St. Arnold 7w (4) 5. Travis Whitney 9 (2) / 6. Matt Folstad 1H (9) 7. Larry Neighbors F5 (7) 8. Clint Garner 40 (8) 9. Henderson D11 (5) DNS - Greg Jones 35

Meyer led flag to flag, but Logan fell just short at the line after working the low to middle groove. Alley backed up his quick time by moving up nicely. Garner and Henderson were battling for sixth when mechanical ills saw both go to the sidelines on the white flag lap.

Heat two (started): 1. Brown 21 (2) 2. John Sernett 91 (1) 3. Mike Reinke 02 (6) 4. Agan 4 (4) 5. Matt Moro 47 (7) / 6. Giannetto D1 (5) 7. Mike Moore 69 (3) 8. Tim Sernett 91T (8) DNS - Lynton Jeffrey 4AU

Brown assumed a front row starting spot when Jeffrey couldn't make the call. He took full advantage, leading the distance and smoking the field. Reinke also benefited from Jeffrey's misfortune, starting in row three and finishing a strong third. The bottom was quickly going away and the only passing was via slide job for the rest of the night.

Heat three (started): 1. Don Droud Jr. 17G (2) 2. Kerry Madsen 55 (3) 3. Wayne Johnson 14AJ (4) 4. Walraven 56 (6) 5. Colin Northway 60 (7) / 6. Michael Jones 1a (8) 7. Ryan Anderson 71R (1) 8. Robert Bell 71 (9) 9. Antill 1 (5)

Droud led the distance and cruised away from a good battle between Madsen and Johnson that included several slide jobs for position. Antill appeared to drop a motor on the white flag lap.

Heat four (started): 1. Eric Vanderploeg 7x (1) 2. Jerrel Slinkard 15s (2) 3. Landis 70 (6) 4. Jackson 2 (5) 5. Mark Dobmeier 13 (4) / 6. Seth Brahmer 13x (3) 7. Jaymie Moyle 5m (7) 8. Kaley Gharst 44G (8) DNS - Tyler Houseman 50

Vanderploeg led flag to flag. The battle of the 13's as Dobmeier beats Brahmer to the final transfer.

B main (started): 1. Henderson (1) 2. Garner (10) 3. Giannetto (2) 4. Moore (4) / 5. Jeffrey (6) 6. Anderson (5) 7. Gharst (12) 8. Folstad (11) 9. Moyle (7) 10. T. Sernett (14) 11. Bell (13) 12. M. Jones (9) 13. Brahmer (3) 14. Neighbors (8) DNS - Antill, Houseman, G. Jones

Giannetto shot out to an early lead, while Garner got up by the fence and rolled into a transfer spot from row five. Brahmer was running a solid fourth on lap eight of 12, when he pulled in with mechanical problems. Henderson made his winning pass on lap five. Neighbors exited on lap two, and M. Jones did so on lap 11.

A main (started): 1. Madsen (2) 2. Logan (3) 3. Johnson (5) 4. Alley (12) 5. Whitney (1) 6. Jackson (8) 7. Moro (18) 8. St. Arnold (7) 9. Reinke (20) 10. Meyer (15) 11. Landis (9) 12. Giannetto (23) 13. Agan (11) 14. Garner (22) 15. Henderson (21) 16. Slinkard (14) 17. Moore (24) 18. Northway (19) 19. Dobmeier (4) 20. J. Sernett (16) 21. Brown (6) 22. Walraven (10) 23. Vanderploeg (17) 24. Droud (13)

Madsen led the distance in the 20 lapper. Contact between Dobmeier and Droud on lap five, saw Droud get the worst end of the deal, banging the front stretch fence. He was unhurt, but done for the night. Dobmeier changed a flat left rear and rejoined the field. At the halfway point, rubber began to surface in turns one and two. Logan found it first and reeled in Madsen, pulling beside him on lap 15. Madsen found it soon thereafter and cruised to Knoxville win number 7. Alley ran a solid fourth after the 12 car invert. Moro, Reinke and Giannetto all shared hard-charger honors moving forward eleven spots.

360s

Heat one (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Eric Mason B29 (1*) 2. Johnny Anderson 7a (2*) 3. Josh Higday 24 (3*) 4. Randy Martin 14 (6*) 5. Bobby Mincer 10 (4) 6. Ryan Jamison 51J (5) 7. Troy Meyer 11m (7) 8. Rod Richards 5 (9) 9. Alan Zoutte 33 (8)

Mason led flag to flag. Martin used the high side to roll around Mincer and Jamison on the first circuit. Higday has split with Mike Trent and will drive his own 24.

Heat two (started, *qualified for feature): 1. John Kearney 83B (1*) 2. Mike Houseman Y2 (2*) 3. John Schulz 2 (4*) 4. Stacey Alexander 126 (5) 5. Terry Alexander 77 (9*) 6. Mitchell Alexander 6 (8) 7. Eddie Leavitt Jr. F4 (7) 8. Dan Thornburg 57T (6) 9. DJ Heskin 56 (3)

DJ Heskin went to the sidelines on lap one. Kearney won going away. T. Alexander and his son, M. Alexander, staged a duel for fifth, won by dad. The spot earned him enough points for an A main transfer.

Heat three (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Jake Peters 57x (6*) 2. Stevie Walsh 20 (2*) 3. John Hall 7H (3*) 4. Jarod Smith 48 (4) 5. Rager Phillips 9 (8) 6. Pete Crall 11 (1) 7. Jerry Crabb 12x (7) 8. Davey Heskin 56x (5) 9. David Brown 48B (9)

Walsh took the early advantage. Peters was shot out of a cannon, moving from sixth to second on the first lap. He took the point from Walsh on lap three of seven and never looked back. Youngsters Phillips and Crall battled side by side before Phillips took the fifth spot in the final corner.

Heat four (started, *qualified for feature): 1. David Hesmer 1 (2*) 2. Joe Beaver 53 (6*) 3. Jon Corbin 33c (7*) 4. Dusty Zomer 1z (5) 5. David Hall 51 (3) 6. Mike Houseman Jr. Y5 (4) 7. Dave Heskin 84 (1) 8. Frank Brown 43 (9) 9. Dustin Selvage 7 (8)

Hesmer led the distance going away. Nice job of moving up through the pack by both Beaver and Corbin. Zomer and D. Hall were on the outside looking in, in a very stout heat.

Heat five (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Larry Ball Jr. 5J (2*) 2. Bronson Maeschen 96 (6*) 3. Frankie Heimbaugh 04 (1) 4. Eric Jobe 23 (4) 5. Brett Mather 54 (7) 6. Tom Lenz 8L (3) 7. Rodney Turner 69 (8) 8. Rob Edwards 22 (5) 9. Nate Van Haaften 3 (9)

Ball dominated and won by almost half a lap. Maeschen moved up nicely for the only other A main qualifier in this one. Jobe had a total rebuild to do after last week's wicked crash.

C main (started): 1. Crabb (2) 2. Edwards (6) / 3. Zoutte (9) 4. Thornburg (4) 5. Dave Heskin (3) 6. Selvage (8) 7. Van Haaften (11) 8. Leavitt (1) 9. Davey Heskin (7) 10. F. Brown (5) 11. D. Brown (10) DNS - Richards, DJ Heskin

Leavitt surged to the early lead before succumbing to mechanical problems and yielding it to Crabb on lap four. F. Brown and Davey Heskin tangled on lap two, and the former flipped and was struck by his father, D. Brown. Both were uninjured, but done for the night.

B main (started): 1. Zomer (4) 2. Jobe (6) 3. Mather (7) 4. Heimbaugh (1) / 5. D. Hall (9) 6. Mincer (8) 7. Phillips (3) 8. Crall (12) 9. Jamison (10) 10. Turner (15) 11. M. Alexander (11) 12. Lenz (14) 13. Smith (5) 14. Meyer (16) 15. Houseman Jr. (13) 16. Edwards (18) 17. S. Alexander (2) 18. Crabb (17)

Heimbaugh took the early advantage, but his traditional low line was not there, and S. Alexander took over on the second circuit. When S. Alexander went pitside smoking, Zomer took over for good on lap three. Jobe and Mather followed him the rest of the way. D. Hall fell just short of passing Heimbaugh at the line for the final transfer.

A main (started): 1. Schulz (1) 2. Kearney (6) 3. Ball (8) 4. Peters (12) 5. Corbin (5) 6. Mather (19) 7. Houseman (3) 8. Anderson (4) 9. Higday (13) 10. Martin (14) 11. Beaver (11) 12. Walsh (2) 13. Hesmer (9) 14. T. Alexander (15) 15. Mason (7) 16. Jobe (18) 17. Zomer (17) 18. J. Hall (16) 19. Heimbaugh (20) 20. Maeschen (10)

Schulz had the ride of his life, and held down the lead on the cushion for the distance of the 15 lapper. Kearney and Ball were quick to challenge for second and exchanged the spot a few times. On the white flag lap, Maeschen spun bringing out the only caution of the event. Schulz led the green, white, checker restart over Ball, Kearney and Peters. When Ball tried to slide by Schulz on the low side of turn one, Kearney took advantage and drove around him. Schulz kept a steady line to earn his first career Knoxville feature win. Mather earned hard-charger honors and an extra $100.
