Heat one (started, *qualified for feature): 1. A.G. Rains 3 (2*), 2. Randy Martin 14 (3*) 3. Zach Chappell 50z (9*)  4. Eric Jobe 23e (1) 5. Eric VanderPloeg 24 (6) 6. Tim Montgomery 23x (7) 7. Jon Corbin 33 (4) 8. Adam Jones 15h (5) 9. Steve Beach 10 (8)

Passing points were used, with the top fourteen in points from the heats joining Shane Stewart, Gary Wright, Jason Johnson and Toby Brown who locked themselves in the feature with their finishes the night before.  Rains led this eight-lapper flag to flag.  Chappell was the mover in this one, winning a battle with Jobe for third after starting at the tail.

Heat two (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Brian Brown 21 (2*) 2. Travis Rilat 29 (1*) 3. Tony Crank 9c (3*) 4. Tracy Nichols 19 (5) 5. Cody Branchcomb 94 (6) 6. Tony Bruce Jr. 18 (4) 7. Lanny Carpenter  24L (7) 8. Johnny Anderson 7a (9) 9. Ed Wagner 73 (8)

Rilat took the early advantage from front row mate, B. Brown.  Wagner spun on lap two bringing a caution.  Rilat led Brown, Crank, Nichols and Bruce back to green.  The last six laps of the eight-lapper were a battle for the lead.  Rilat and B. Brown exchanged the position twice before B. Brown took command with two circuits to go.

Heat three (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Robbie Standridge 12x (1*) 2. Sam Hafertepe Jr. 15 (2*) 3. Jimmy Taylor 23 (3*) 4. Terry Hinck 21h (5) 5. Aaron Berryhill 97 (8) 6. Frank Brown 4u (4) 7. Hunter Schuerenberg 35 (7) 8. Eric Schrock 86x (9) 9. J.P. Bailey 45 (6)

Rob. Standridge led the distance despite a stoppage for a stopped Schrock at the halfway point.  The bottom became the chosen line.  The best battle was for fifth with Berryhill overtaking F. Brown.  Bailey, who won here a week ago, exited on lap six.

Heat four (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Garry Lee Maiier 11x (4*) 2. Jesse Hockett 75 (2*) 3. Ron Standridge 4 (3*) 4. Bryan Grimes 6 (5) 5. Eddie Rhine 98 (6) 6. Stan Boch 11 (8) 7. Mace May 311 (7) DQ - Jeff Stanley 60 (1)

Stanley led the distance in impressive fashion, but didn't visit the scales afterward and was disqualified.  With nothing to grip up top, even Hockett was forced low.  Grimes pass for what would become fourth was on the last corner over Lima, OH native, Rhine.

Heat five (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. 40r (1*) 2. Mike Trent 71 (2*) 3. Marshall Skinner 26k (5*) 4. Darren Stewart 91 (3) 5. Bobby Hawks 5h (7) 6. Dean Adams Sr. 3a (6) 7. Rex Combs 4x (8) 8. Doug Wilson 86 (4)

Stenhouse was the class of the field and won by a straightaway.  Second through fourth ran nose to tail, with Trent and Skinner putting on a good battle for second.  D. Stewart won a last lap duel with Hawks for fourth.

B main # 1 (started): 1. D.Stewart (3)  2. Montgomery (8) 3. Hinck (2) / 4. Ron Standridge (1) 5. Carpenter (10) 6. Grimes (4) 7. Vanderploeg (5) 8. Wilson (12) 9. Rhine (6) 10. Wagner (14) 11. Stanley (15) 12. May (11) 13. F. Brown (9) 14. Schrock (13) 15. Combs (7)

D. Stewart wrestled the early advantage from Ron Standridge in the 12 lapper and checked out before a lap six F. Brown spin.  D. Stewart led Hinck, Ron Standridge, Grimes and Montgomery back to green.  Once underway, Montgomery shot around Grimes using a middle groove he would benefit from in the A main.  After battling for a few laps with Ron Standridge, he gained the final transfer and then worked around Hinck on a white flag restart caused by another F. Brown spin.

B main #2 (started): 1. Nichols (1) 2. Branchcomb (5) 3. Berryhill (2) / 4. Anderson (11) 5. Corbin (9) 6. Bailey (14) 7. Adams (8) 8. Hawks (4) 9. Schuerenberg (10) 10. Jones (12) 11. Bruce (7) 12. Beach (13) 13. Jobe (3) 14. Boch (6)

Nichols hugged the bottom for the early lead.  On lap two Hawks bumped Jobe from behind and both spun, bringing the yellow flag.  Anderson had moved from 11th to 6th and benefited the most from their exit, lining up fourth.  He could do nothing to gain one more spot in the final ten laps, following the lead trio home.

A main (started): 1. S. Stewart 4m (1) 2. Wright 9 (3) 3. Johnson 41 (2) 4. Montgomery (21) 5. Maier (5) 6. Rains (7) 7. Chappell (6) 8. B. Brown (10) 9. Rob. Standridge (9) 10. Martin (11) 11. Branchcomb (22) 12. D. Stewart (19) 13. Stenhouse (8) 14. Skinner (16) 15. Hockett (14) 16. Trent (15) 17. Rilat (12) 18. Hinck (23) 19. Taylor (18) 20. Nichols (20) 21. T. Brown 61a (4) 22. Hafertepe (13) 23. Berryhill (24) 24. Schrock (25) 25. Grimes (26) 26. Crank (17)

For some reason, Schrock and Grimes started as provisionals.  S. Stewart led the parade on the bottom at the outset of the 30 lapper, followed by Wright, Johnson and T. Brown.  Hockett tried to add some excitement, and hit the high side gaining a few spots, but slowly retreating.  Montgomery found a slightly different line through the middle of the track that had worked for him in the B.  He slowly picked off spots in moving towards the front.  The lead three remained unchanged, but Chappell had moved into fourth. A spin on lap 24 by Hafertepe collected Berryhill and ended both driver's nights.  Maier tapped T. Brown in a battle for fifth on the restart, ending T. Brown's night.  The restart saw a six lap dash with S. Stewart leading Wright, Johnson, Maier, Chappell, Rob. Standridge and the charging Montgomery, into eighth.  The leaders remained unchanged running around the tires, though Johnson tried to work the top a bit.  Montgomery continued his crusade, passing Maier late for fourth.  He provided some entertainment in earning hard-charger honors.  S. Stewart won for the second night in a row and picked up the winner's share of $5000.
