Miller registered his first win in series action Friday at Jacksonville Speedway’s MOWA “Herb Barlow Memorial.”  Paul Nienhiser clinched his fifth win in the series with his triumph Saturday on the Spoon River Speedway high banks near Canton during the “Tom Knowles Memorial”.

Two more races are up for grabs this weekend.  The IRA will be visiting Beaver Dam Raceway’s Scott Semmelman Memorial on Saturday.  Sunday will mark the always fun “Bill Waite Jr. Memorial” with an IRA/MOWA showdown at LaSalle Speedway in Illinois.

Kerry Madsen (seven wins) leads Brian Brown (seven wins), Austin McCarl (five wins), Terry McCarl and Brooke Tatnell (one win) in the current point standings.  Davey Heskin, Cory Eliason, Matt Juhl (one win), Jacob Patton (two wins) and Nienhiser (five wins) round out the top ten.

So far, there have been 22 different winners in the 55 races contested with the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars presented by Open Wheel 101!
