WARRNAMBOOL, Australia — California sprint car driver Carson Macedo was the class of the field on the second night of the 47th annual South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic Saturday at Premier Speedway.
Macedo started the No. 99n sprint car from the pole and romped to the victory ahead of Luke Dillon, who moved forward from seventh starting position.
Kerry Madsen finished third with Grant Anderson and Robbie Farr completing the top five.
Another Californian, Gio Scelzi, finished eighth. Scelzi won the President’s Cup on Wednesday night.
Jamie Veal won Friday’s preliminary feature and the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic finale is scheduled for Sunday night.
