John VanDenBerg (10th car out to time) set quick time at 16.281 seconds.  Mark Kinser (2nd car out) was second quick, followed by Ricky Logan (6th), Brian Paulus (1st), Donny Schatz (5th), Jason Meyers (18th), Sammy Swindell (43rd), Travis Cram (17th), Jason Sides (9th) and Daryn Pittman (4th).  Joey Saldana, Steve Kinser, Craig Dollansky and Danny Lasoski were locked in due to their finishes on Friday.  40 truck loads of dirt were removed from the racing surface on Friday night.  More will follow in the coming weeks in hopes of getting back to the original surface.

Heat one (started): 1. Sides 7s (2) 2. Cram 92 (3) 3. Erin Crocker 16 (1) 4. Brandon Wimmer 7TW (5) / 5. Skip Jackson 2AU (8) 6. Kraig Kinser 11K (7) 7. Lynton Jeffrey 10 (6) 8. VanDenBerg v10 (4) 9. Johnny Anderson 7a (10) 10. Jeff Johnson 11J (9) DNS - Chris Walraven 56

VanDenBerg got over the cushion as the green flag fell and was shuffled to the tail immediately.  Sides led the duration, despite a late charge by Cram.  Jackson worked over Wimmer a couple of times for the last transfer, but was stymied.

Heat two (started): 1. Paul McMahan 11H (1) 2. Swindell 12x (3) 3. Shane Stewart 4m (5) 4. Pittman 21 (2) / 5. Brooke Tatnell 66 (7) 6. M. Kinser 83 (4) 7. Clint Garner 40 (10) 8. Jason Johnson 50D (6) 9. Billy Alley 22 (8) 10. Mark Hurd 44m (9) 11. Tyler Houseman 50 (11)

Ja. Johnson spun on the initial try at a start.  McMahan took a lead and pulled away on the restart.  Stewart dove under M. Kinser on the first lap to gain a transfer.  Both Swindell and Stewart blew by Pittman in the last corner when the 21 slowed and showed smoke after a tight battle.

Heat three (started): 1. Terry McCarl 24 (1) 2. Brent Antill 1 (2) 3. Meyers 14 (3) 4. Tim Shaffer 6 (6) / 5. Logan 17G (4) 6. Calvin Landis 70 (9) 7. Mike Reinke 02 (8) 8. Randy Anderson R19 (7) 9. Mike Moore 69 (10) 10. Wayne Johnson 14AJ (5) 11. Robert Bell 71 (11)

McCarl shot out ot an early lead before W. Johnson brought out a caution with a 360 spin and stop.  Shaffer had already wrestled the fourth and final transfer from Logan and that's the way they finished.

Heat four (started): 1. Schatz 15 (3) 2. Matt Moro 47 (2) 3. Jaymie Moyle 1s (5) 4. Paulus 28 (4) / 5. Kerry Madsen 55 (7) 6. Jesse Giannetto D1 (6) 7. Joe Beaver 53 (10) 8. Ryan Anderson 71R (9) 9. Greg Jones 35 (11) 10. Tim St. Arnold 8s (8) 11. Jeff Mitrisin 5J (1)

Mitrisin and Moro tangled on the opening lap with Mitrisin bumping by to lead.  On lap two, Mitrisin shut down and stopped on the raceway, while Schatz took the lead from Moro.  The restart saw Schatz leading Moro, Paulus, Moyle and Giannetto.  Five more laps passed before St. Arnold came to a rest in turn two, while Jones was flipping in turn four.  Neither returned.  Paulus hung on to the final transfer, and was the only top four qualifier not to be knocked out of the dash.

C main (started): 1. Garner (6) 2. Landis (3) / 3. J. Anderson (5) 4. Hurd (2) 5. Walraven (1) 6. Ry. Anderson (4) 7. Moore (7) 8. Beaver (8) 9. Je. Johnson (9) 10. Houseman (10) 11. Bell (11) DNS - Jones

Walraven took the early lead, before Landis took over on lap two.  Garner was on the move on the high side near the wall and took over the point for good on lap five of the ten lap non-stop event.

Dash (started): 1. Saldana 2 (1) 2. Lasoski 20 (4) 3. Dollansky 7 (3) 4. Schatz (6) 5. Meyers (7) 6. Swindell (8) 7. S. Kinser 11 (2) 8. Paulus (5)

Saldana outbattled S. Kinser for the point and won going away.  S. Kinser banged the wall on lap three and went backwards.

B main (started): 1. M. Kinser (2) 2. W. Johnson (5) 3. Jackson (13) 4. Tatnell (10) / 5. Madsen (12) 6. Ja. Johnson (7) 7. K. Kinser (9) 8. VanDenBerg (1) 9. Landis (16) 10. Logan (3) 11. Giannetto (8) 12. Jeffrey (6) 13. Ra. Anderson (11) 14. Garner (17) 15. Alley (14) 16. Reinke (15) 17. Mitrisin (4) DNS - St. Arnold

Contact with Tatnell sent Giannetto into a spin on the initial try at a lap.  M. Kinser led the distance in the twelve lapper on the restart.  The lone caution appeared for Mitrisin, who was in a transfer spot, when he came to a stop in turn four on lap three.  The restart saw M. Kinser leading W. Johnson, VanDenBerg, Logan and Ja. Johnson.  Jackson and Tatnell were on the move and passed ten and six cars respectively to lock down the final transfers.

A main (started): 1. Dollansky (3) 2. Lasoski (2) 3. Jackson (24) 4. Moro (14) 5. Pittman (12) 6. Meyers (5) 7. Stewart (19) 8. Tatnell (23) 9. Schatz (4) 10. Paulus (8) 11. Antill (13) 12. Sides (11) 13. McMahan (16) 14. Cram (10) 15. W. Johnson (20) 16. Crocker (17) 17. Wimmer (18) 18. Shaffer (22) 19. Saldana (1) 20. S. Kinser (7) 21. Moyle (21) 22. McCarl (15) 23. M. Kinser (9, DQ for weight - crossed the line 1st) 24. Swindell (6, DQ for weight - crossed the line fifth)

The dry surface was bound to yield to rubber, but held pretty well until about 14 laps in to the 40 lapper.  Before a lap could be completed, McCarl spun and collected Tatnell and Shaffer.  McCarl ended up on his lid and done for the night.  Saldana dominated the early going and built a lead on Lasoski, Dollansky and S. Kinser.  Moyle went pitside on lap 11.  Saldana led Dollansky, S. Kinser, Schatz and Meyers at the point rubber became a bigger factor.  On lap 20, the first caution of the event came out for Swindell, who had spun.  Two laps later, S. Kinser had moved around Dollansky and was gaining on the leader when he lost his motor and ducked to the pits.  Saldana, still in control, would be the next to lose power on lap 33, handing the point to Dollansky and bringing out caution.  Dollansky led Schatz, Meyers, Lasoski and M. Kinser back to the green flag restart, but a lap was not complete before Wimmer coasted to a stop.  Shaffer flipped before a lap could be complete on the next try.  He was done.  The open red gave teams a chance to add fuel for the last five laps.  M. Kinser was on the move and grabbed two more spots by lap 37 when Paulus went out with a flat right rear.  Cram, Schatz and Meyers also had tires go down at some point and all but Cram restarted.  W. Johnson had come to a stop on lap 39, with Dollansky leading M. Kinser, Lasoski, Schatz, Sides and a hell on wheels Jackson.  Meyers flat occured on the next try at green, and both McMahan and Cram retired with fuel problems on another try when Schatz repaired his flat tire.  Finally restarting, M. Kinser slipped under Dollansky to take command and the apparent win.  Sides retired from fourth with a lap to go.  M. Kinser was found to be light at the scales, while Swindell who had motored back to fifth, suffered the same fate.  The win and $20,000 was granted to Dollansky.  Jackson and Moro did the hometown crowd proud.  Skip passed 21 cars on his way to third after passing ten in the B main.
