410s

Billy Alley (6th car out to time) set quick time on a choppy track with a lap of 16.152 seconds.  Chris Walraven (3rd car out) was second quick, followed by Mike Reinke (2nd), Calvin Landis (6th), Terry McCarl (27th), Ryan Anderson (1st), Wayne Johnson (24th), Kerry Madsen (8th), Jason Johnson (21st) and Jesse Hockett (30th).  The wet track developed a heavy cushion that was not giving much.  The Bobcat was brought out twice to shave the cushion.  Josh Higday failed to get a time in when he suffered from mechanical problems.

Heat one (started): 1. Brent Antill 1 (2) 2. Skip Jackson 2 (1) 3. Ja. Johnson 50D (4) 4. McCarl 24 (5) 5. Ricky Logan 17G (3) / 6. Chad Meyer 1w (6) 7. Bobby Mincer 15 (7) 8. Mark Hurd 44m (8) DNS – Alley 22

Alley failed to get to staging in time and was not allowed in the field.  Antill led a parade that was only missing candy and marching bands.

Heat two (started): 1. Randy Anderson R19 (1) 2. Hockett 75 (4) 3. Jeff Mitrisin 5J (3) 4. Colin Northway 60 (2) 5. Clint Garner 40 (7) / 6. Walraven 56 (6) 7. Ry. Anderson 71R (5) 8. Tyler Houseman 50 (8) 9. Robert Bell 71 (9)

Ra. Anderson led flag to flag.  Garner had to work for the final transfer.  He won a nice battle with Ry. Anderson and then held off Walraven.  Northway faded but maintained a transfer after his nose wing was disabled early.

Heat three (started): 1. Matt Moro 47 (1) 2. W. Johnson 14AJ (5) 3. Jaymie Moyle 1s (2) 4. Aaron Berryhill 97 (3) 5. Travis Cram 92 (4) / 6. Reinke 02 (6) 7. Mike Moore 69 (7) DNS – Jerrel Slinkard 15x, Josh Higday 83

Moro led the distance.  Cram and Reinke had a nice battle for the final transfer and exchanged it on one occasion.

Heat four (started): 1. John VanDenBerg v10 (2) 2. Jesse Giannetto D1 (3) 3. Jeff Johnson 11J (1) 4. Madsen 55 (5) 5. Lynton Jeffrey 10 (4) / 6. Landis 70 (6) 7. Larry Ball Jr. 7x (7) 8. Greg Jones 35 (8)

The failure of Landis to grab a transfer to the A, meant that the top four qualifiers on the night would run the B.  Though VanDenBerg led the duration of the eight laps, Giannetto used the bottom side to come close to winning at the checkered.

B main (started): 1. Reinke (1) 2. Walraven (2) 3. Landis (4) 4. Ball (8) / 5. Alley (13) 6. Ry. Anderson (3) 7. Meyer (7) 8. Moore (5) 9. Hurd (9) 10. Bell (11) 11. Jones (12) 12. Houseman (10) 13. Mincer (6) DNS – Slinkard, Higday

Mincer was running fourth when he lost his driveline on lap three and brought out the only 410 caution of the night.  Reinke had no peer in this one and won by a good distance.  Alley made a valiant effort from the tail, but fell one spot short of a transfer.

A main (started): 1. Cram (3) 2. Ja. Johnson (5) 3. Jeffrey (2) 4. McCarl (8) 5. Madsen (6) 6. Giannetto (11) 7. Jackson (16) 8. W. Johnson (7) 9. Berryhill (10) 10. Moyle (14) 11. Landis (23) 12. Hockett (4) 13. Moro (18) 14. VanDenBerg (15) 15. Northway (13) 16. Mitrisin (9) 17. Reinke (21) 18. Ra. Anderson (17) 19. Logan (1) 20. Ball (24) 21. Garner (20) 22. Walraven (22) 23. Je. Johnson (19) 24. Antill (12)

Jeffrey took command early, but Cram took the point as lap one was being completed.  The 20 lapper went non-stop, and never saw Cram seriously challenged as he did a masterful job of navigating traffic.  W. Johnson and McCarl battled early in traffic for a spot in the top five.  Giannetto and Jackson were on the move using their patented low lines.  Both were charging forward at the end.  Landis advanced 12 spots to earn hard-charger honors and an extra $300.

While Mather took the early lead, several were on the move behind him.  Both Beaver and Trent were in transfer spots by lap eight, when Crabb came to a stop on the backstretch.  He was done for the night.  One lap later, Waddell spun, setting up a green, white, checkered finish.  Mather led Beaver, Trent, Meyer and S. Alexander back to green.  S. Alexander was able to capture the final transfer and complete a nice run.

A main (started): 1. Kearney (4) 2. Peters (6) 3. Mason (2) 4. Zomer (8) 5. Jobe (1) 6. Turner (3) 7. St. Arnold (10) 8. Golik (13) 9. Trent (19) 10. Mather (17) 11. Wilson (5) 12. S. Mason jumped out to an early lead.  He maintained it when Phillips spun on lap two bringing out a caution.  Under yellow, Heskin replace a flat left rear tire.  Phillips retired with a leaking fuel tank.  Mason led Jobe, Kearney, Turner and Peters back to the green flag.  Kearney grabbed the lead two laps later, before Beaver brought out a caution with a flat tire.  He was unable to make repairs.  Kearney withstood a late challenge from Peters, who got his nose under Kearney on a few occasions.  Zomer ran a strong fourth.  Trent was the hard-charger, moving forward ten spots and collecting an extra $100.
