Terry McCarl (29th car to time) set quick time, just a tick off the track record with a circuit of 15.083 seconds. He was followed by Jon Agan (2nd), Calvin Landis (28th), Blake Feese (20th), Kerry Madsen (23rd), Brian Brown (6th), Don Droud Jr. (1st), Larry Ball Jr. (13th), Jaymie Moyle (10th) and Travis Cram (19th). The track stayed heavy most of the night with clear racing grooves on the top and bottom of the raceway. Tyler Houseman did not record a time and was a scratch for the night. Madsen and McCarl both locked down mechanical difficulties after coming in from hot laps in a cloud of smoke.

Heat one (started): 1. Chris Walraven 56 (2) 2. Droud 55 (6) 3. McCarl 24 (8) 4. Justin Henderson R19 (4) 5. Tim St. Arnold 7s (1) 6. Feese 3 (7) / 7. Cram 92 (5) 8. Colin Northway 60 (3) 9. Greg Jones 35 (11) 10. Clint Garner 47 (9) 11. Jamie Zaputil 12 (10)

Walraven led the distance, while Droud and McCarl moved up nicely. Zaputil, this week's driver of the Robuck 12 brought out the caution on lap six when he made heavy contact with the wall. It looked like he blew a right rear. Garner exited at the same time.

Heat two (started): 1. Jeff Mitrisin 5J (3) 2. Ball 1s (6) 3. Skip Jackson 21 (5) 4. Eric Vanderploeg 57a (2) 5. Madsen 82 (7) 6. Derek Beckman 50D (4) / 7. Agan 4 (8) 8. Lynton Jeffrey 4K (9) 9. Jeff Johnson 11J (10) 10. Adam West 20 (1) DNS - Houseman 50

Mitrisin and Ball moved to the front early, both on the high side. Jackson worked the bottom to perfection. Madsen was on Vanderploeg's nerf bar at the finish line. West exited on lap four.

Heat three (started): 1. Ricky Logan 17G (2) 2. Mike Reinke 02 (4) 3. Brown 6 (7) 4. Mike Moore 69 (1) 5. Wayne Johnson 12x (5) 6. Landis 70 (8) / 7. Randy Martin 14 (3) 8. Moyle 10 (6) 9. Brent Antill 1 (9) 10. Robert Bell 71 (10)

Logan led the duration from his front row starting spot. Reinke looked fast in the Cowman 02, and Brown moved up four spots from his fourth row inside starting spot. A determined Moore held off W. Johnson for the last three laps to secure fourth place.

B main (started): 1. Moyle (2) 2. Cram (3) 3. Agan (1) 4. Antill (9) / 5. Garner (7) 6. Martin (5) 7. J. Johnson (11) 8. West (6) 9. Bell (12) 10. Jones (13) 11. Zaputil (10) 12. Jeffrey (8) 13. Northway (4) DNS - Houseman

Moyle led flag to flag despite a lap five caution for a minor fire in Northway's mount. At the time he was running a strong second. Jeffrey broke a right front torsion arm at the same time and retired. Zaputil also exited early. Antill made a fine run after a disappointing qualifying run put him "behind the eight ball."

A main (started): 1. Jackson (5) 2. Feese (10) 3. McCarl (12) 4. W. Johnson (2) 5. Landis (11) 6. Henderson (3) 7. Antill (21) 8. Brown (8) 9. Reinke (1) 10. Cram (20) 11. Droud (7) 12. Logan (16) 13. Moyle (19) 14. St. Arnold (17) 15. Ball (6) 16. Vanderploeg (15) 17. Agan (22) 18. Madsen (9) 19. Walraven (14) 20. Moore (18) 21. Mitrisin (13) 22. Beckman (2)

A jump on the initial start sent Logan to the tail. Reinke jumped out to a good lead, before a lap three spin by Moore brought the field to his bumper. The restart saw a Droud spin. He would restart at the tail. Jackson would squeak under Reinke a few circuits later and cruised along until a lap nine caution for Ball when he slapped the wall and came to a stop. At this point, Jackson led Reinke, W. Johnson, a hard charging Feese, and Madsen. Two laps later, Beckman spun 720 degrees, bringing out another caution. Cram stopped when a nozzle came loose a couple of laps later. At this point, Jackson still led Reinke, Feese, W. Johnson and Landis, setting up a six lap dash. The dash was halted on lap 17 when Madsen suffered a flat right rear. He rejoined the field at the tail after taking on new rubber. McCarl had now moved into the top ten, and Feese was breathing down Jackson's back. Feese tried a move under Jackson with two to go that didn't stick. Coming for the white flag, Jackson went low into one and two and Feese drove around him on the high side. Skip came back with a successful slide job in turn three, gaining the lead and in turn the $3000 payday.

Mincer led flag to flag, while York looked good in passing Crabb for third. Middleswart and Martinez also had a nice battle for fifth.

Heat two (started, *qualified for A): 1. Billy Alley 22A (2*) 2. Matt Moro 2 (4*) 3. Doug Wilson 33w (3*) 4. Johnny Anderson 7a (9*) 5. Josh Higday 24 (7) 6. Frankie Heimbaugh 6x (1) 7. Eric Mason B29 (6) 8. Brett Mather 54 (8) 9. Ryan Anderson 71R (5) 10. Steve Wares 10T (10)

Alley led a strong field with a new seven lap standard of 1:53.9. J. Anderson was on fire moving up through the field on the low side of the track. Higday made his pass of Heimbaugh on the last lap, but it wouldn't be enough for a spot in the A.

Heat three (started, *qualified for A): 1. Brett Golik 5G (1*) 2. Rob Edwards 22 (2*) 3. Mike Houseman 83 (3*) 4. Jesse Giannetto D1 (8*) 5. Ed Ergenbright 11 (5) 6. Stacey Alexander 126 (6) 7. Rod Richards 5 (4) 8. Ryan Menninga 10 (7) 9. Michael Jones 12 (9) 10. Nate Mosher 45 (10)

Golik led the distance, while Houseman struggled the entirety trying to get by a "wide" Edwards. He did all but run over him at the finish line. Giannetto looked smooth moving up four positions.

Heat four (started, *qualified for A): 1. John VanDenBerg V10 (1*) 2. Steve Breazeale 57 (2*) 3. Joe Beaver 53 (4*) 4. Dave Hesmer 1 (6*) 5. Rodney Turner 69 (5) 6. Mitchell Alexander 6 (3) 7. Dave Hall 51 (8) 8. John Hall 7H (9) 9. Tom Lenz 8L (7)

VanDenBerg led the duration of this mostly single file affair.

C main (started): 1. R. Anderson (3) 2. Dave Heskin (2) / 3. Lenz (5) 4. Jones (4) 5. Foster (6) 6. Mosher (7) 7. Menninga (1) DNS - Wares

Menninga dominated with R. Anderson in tow, until he dropped out with two laps to go. Mosher spun on lap two and during the white flag lap.

B main (started): 1. Higday (1) 2. Ergenbright (3) 3. S. Alexander (5) 4. Turner (4) / 5. Mather (13) 6. Mason (9) 7. D. Hall (10) 8. DJ Heskin (11) 9. Heimbaugh (6) 10. Middleswart (2) 11. M. Alexander (8) 12. Dave Heskin (16) 13. Hainline (7) 14. Richards (12) 15. J. Hall (14) 16. R. Anderson (15) DNS - Martinez

This one got off to a bumpy start when R. Anderson climbed the right rear of J. Hall when the green fell and flipped, taking both cars out. Richards also flipped down the frontstretch after tangling with Hainline, who continued. Higday was gone on the restart. Mather's charge from 13th to fifth ended up one spot short of a transfer spot.

A main (started): 1. Giannetto (4) 2. Beaver (1) 3. York (2) 4. Breazeale (3) 5. Houseman (14) 6. J. Anderson (6) 7. Mincer (12) 8. Alley (11) 9. Wilson (13) 10. Higday (17) 11. Hesmer (15) 12. S. Alexander (19) 13. Moro (10) 14. Thorson (7) 15. Turner (20) 16. Golik (9) 17. Edwards (5) 18. VanDenBerg (8) 19. Crabb (16) 20. Ergenbright (18)

The first lap saw VanDenBerg get into Edwards sending the V10 into the berm and upside down. Ergenbright was collected in the mess, and Crabb was involved too. The next green saw Moro jump, sending him to the tail. Once underway, Beaver set sail leading York who was passed shortly thereafter by Giannetto. Giannetto took advantage of a lap six restart for a spun Higday to take the lead for good. Houseman was on a mission moving up nine spots to finish fifth.
