This weekend will be a busy one, as five races in four states, covering three different sanctions will be contested.  Eligible point races include Friday with the MOWA series at Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa, and the WoO show at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota.  On Saturday, Knoxville Raceway in Iowa will be back in action, while the WoO travels to Granite City Speedway in Minnesota.  Sunday, the IRA will take to Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

Two-time and defending Midwest Thunder Sprints champion, Kerry Madsen leads the current point standings, ahead of Brian Brown, Terry McCarl, Paul Nienhiser and Bill Balog.  Brooke Tatnell, Austin McCarl, Parker Price-Miller, Joe B. Miller and Jeremy Standridge round out the top ten.
