Tom Knowles Memorial winner Logan Seavey (01) dices with Ryan Bunton (6R) at Spoon River (Mark Funderburk Racing Photo)Tom Knowles Memorial winner Logan Seavey (01) dices with Ryan Bunton (6R) at Spoon River (Mark Funderburk Racing Photo) (Bill W) September 11, 2019, Monroe, IA – Four winners graced Victory Lane in four races last weekend with the Midwest Thunder Sprints presented by www.OpenWheel101.com.  The IRA was active in Wisconsin.  Jake Blackhurst drove to victory with them at Superior Speedway, while Bill Balog took the prestigious Jerry Richert Memorial at Cedar Lake Speedway near New Richmond.  In Illinois, Paul Nienhiser topped the Herb Barlow Memorial at Jacksonville Speedway, and Logan Seavey picked up his first win with the MOWA series at Saturday’s Tom Knowles Memorial at Spoon River Speedway near Canton.
 
The IRA will compete in the Semmelmann Memorial this weekend at Beaver Dam (WI) Raceway.
 
Kerry Madsen still leads the current point standings, but Bill Balog’s weekend has him closing the gap.  Brian Brown is currently third, ahead of James McFadden, Terry McCarl, Parker Price-Miller, Austin McCarl, Paul Nienhiser, Jeremy Schultz and Gio Scelzi.
