$2,000 awaits the 2019 point champion, second will take home $1,000 and third, $550.  The champion will also receive a trophy from Podium Awards of Newport, Pennsylvania!  A special thanks goes out to those who donated for the 2019 point fund, and hopefully, we can get even more donated for our drivers in our fourth season in 2020!

Balog’s lead in the current point standings comes ahead of Kerry Madsen, Brian Brown, Terry McCarl, James McFadden, Austin McCarl, Parker Price-Miller, Jeremy Schultz, Paul Nienhiser and Rico Abreu, who swept the last two series’ events in Jacksonville, Illinois.

Over 175 drivers have earned points this season, and there have been 27 different winners in the 65 features contested thus far.  Mother Nature has been tough with 17 rainouts and several postponed events.

Help Out Your Drivers Today!

It’s not too late!  If you appreciate sprint car drivers in the Midwest, then consider making a contribution towards this year’s point fund.  Whether you own a business and would like a banner on OpenWheel101.com, or just want to make an anonymous donation, drop me a line!  100% of donations/sponsorships go to the drivers!  E-mail me at sprntcar@hotmail.com!
