Brad Sweet (10th car out to time) set quick time on the 4/10-mile oval at 13.032 seconds.  Brent Marks (13th car out) was second quick, followed by Donny Schatz (7th), David Gravel (16th), Jason Sides (5th), Brian Brown (34th), Sheldon Haudenschild (9th), Parker Price-Miller (12th), Danny Dietrich (14th) and Carson Macedo (29th).  Justin Peck lost an engine in hot laps and scratched.  Craig Pellegrini also scratched after hot laps.  Schatz, Sweet, Aaron Reutzel and Brown were the fastest cars in their respective heat groups.

Heat one (started): 1. Haudenschild 17 (2) 2. Ian Madsen 11 (1) 3. Schatz 15 (4) 4. Sides 7s (3) 5. Jacob Allen 1a (7) / 6. Brock Zearfoss 3z (5) 7. Joey Saldana 12N (6) DNS – Craig Pellegrini 27c, Justin Peck 13

8-lap heats took the winner and fastest qualifier finishing in the top five to the Dash.  I. Madsen led early over Haudenschild and Sides.  Haudenschild slid Madsen in one and two on lap two to take the lead, while Schatz worked by Sides for third.  Allen grabbed the final transfer from Zearfoss at the halfway point.

Heat two (started): 1. Gravel 2 (2) 2. Sweet 49 (4) 3. Price-Miller 19 (1) 4. Marks 5 (3) 5. Danny Dietrich 48 (5) / 6. Cory Eliason 26 (7) 7. Mason Daniel 33m (6) 8. Carson Short 21s (8) 9. Joe Conway 11c (9)

Gravel led the distance.  Sweet shot by Price-Miller on lap two to nail down second.  Conway exited early.

Heat three (started): 1. Gio Scelzi 18 (1) 2. Tyler Courtney 7BC (2) 3. Kasey Kahne 9 (3) 4. Reutzel 83 (4) 5. Anthony Macri 39m (5) / 6. Hunter Schuerenberg 55 (7) 7. Wayne Johnson 2c (6) 8. Sam Hafertepe Jr. 15H (8)

This one was mostly single-file.  A good battle for fourth developed between Reutzel and Macri.

Heat four (started): 1. Kraig Kinser 11K (1) 2. Logan Schuchart 1s (2) 3. Brown 21 (4) 4. Macedo 41 (3) 5. Kerry Madsen 101 (6) / 6. Cale Conley 3c (5) 7. Zach Hampton 15B (7) DNS – Steve Buckwalter 17B

Another mostly single-file affair at high-speed.

Dash one (started): 1. Haudenschild (1) 2. Sides (2) 3. Sweet (5) 4. Scelzi (3) 5. Kinser (4)

4-lap dashes set the inside (dash one) and outside (dash two) of the first five rows of the feature.  Haudenschild led wire to wire.  Sweet worked by Scelzi on lap two for third.

B main (started): 1. Eliason (2) 2. Daniel (1) 3. Saldana (6) 4. Zearfoss (3) / 5. Conley (4) 6. Hafertepe (10) 7. Schuerenberg (5) 8. Short (9) 9. Hampton (8) 10. Johnson (7) 11. Conway (11) DNS – Buckwalter, Pellegrini, Peck

The 12-lap B took the top four to the A.  Eliason led Daniel the distance.  Saldana shot by Conley for third on lap two.  By lap four, Zearfoss moved into fifth.  He slowly reeled in Conley before getting by him in turn four on the last lap.  The two contacted and bounced across the line at the finish.

The 25-lapper saw Sides get tagged from behind into a spin to start things.  He restarted at the tail.  Brown led Sweet and Haudenschild early.  Schatz worked by Haudenschild for third on lap two.  Brown and Sweet rode the rim ahead of the pack, with Sweet getting by to take the point on lap seven.  Schatz followed him into second on lap eight.  The leaders hit lapped traffic on lap nine.  Haudenschild slid by Brown into third on lap 12.  Schatz was making the bottom of one and two work, and picked off Sweet, who was working traffic on lap 13 before Kinser came to a stop, bringing caution.  The restart saw Schatz leading Sweet, Haudenschild, Brown and Gravel.  Gravel tried to take two cars in three and four.  Brown got over the cushion in four, got sideways and collected Scelzi, who retired.  On the restart, Schuchart moved into the top five, while Gravel briefly took second from Sweet.  Schuchart moved into third, battling with Sweet for second.  Gravel relegated Haudenschild to fifth as they went back and forth again.  Lap 19 saw the final caution for I. Madsen, who got into the turn two wall.  Schatz led Sweet, Schuchart, Gravel and Haudenschild back to green.  With four to go, Schuchart shot by Sweet for second.  His momentum was unstoppable, and he coasted by Schatz with two to go to go on to win from row six.
