8-lap heats used passing points to set up the feature.  Russell led O’Neal and Grossenbacher early.  O’Neal’s run came to an end with three to go when he broke a torsion arm.  Bogucki also exited and would not return.  Russell held them off to win it.  Thornhill dealt with mechanical issues all night and never got it going.

The 25-lapper saw Williamson leading Covington, Anderson and Hill early.  Anderson went over the cushion on the high banks on lap two and Hill moved into third.  Hickle assumed fourth.  Williamson was into lapped traffic on the fifth lap.  Three laps later, things were hectic up front, and Covington took the low route to the point in heavy lapped traffic.  Hickle got by Hill on lap 12 and it was a three-way battle for the lead at that point.  Williamson dove in front of Covington to briefly retake the lead on lap 14, but by the time the field came back to the line, Covington was leading.  By lap 18, Hahn was in the mix, and a blanket could be thrown over the top four, as they swapped positions at will.  Things came to a quick end when Ramey and O’Neal flipped in turn four.  Hickle also tipped over to avoid the two, surrendering his top four run.  Covington led Williamson, Hahn, Hill and Martin back to green, while Westbrook exited with mechanical issues.  Martin moved by Hill for fourth with four to go, but he would get over the top of the turn three cushion and flip with two to go.  Covington led the two lap Dash to the checkers.  Helt was the hard-charger.
