Brown’s win at Knoxville on Saturday came ahead of Matt Juhl, Austin McCarl, Justin Henderson and Don Droud Jr. AJ Moeller picked up the $100 from OpenWheel101.com for quick time.

Change in Focus
The Midwest Thunder Sprints presented by www.OpenWheel101.com is shifting its focus a bit this season to the weekly racers at the Knoxville Raceway and Huset’s Speedway. In the past, 70-80 races have been traditionally scored in a nine-state region. In 2022, the series point races will be 410 sprint car events at Knoxville Raceway in Iowa, Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota and Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minnesota.
In addition, OpenWheel101.com will be awarding $100 to the 410 quick qualifier at each weekly racing event (excluding special shows) at Knoxville.
“OpenWheel101.com is all about giving back to the racer,” says Bill Wright of OpenWheel101.com. “With the travel, tire costs and just the plain cost of running up and down the road, this supplementary point fund could be big for the local drivers. We also like to recognize those that give to the point fund with free advertising on the site.
