There were two flights of time trials.  Lynton Jeffrey (6th car out to time) set quick time in the first group at 13.043 seconds.  He was followed by Kaleb Johnson (1st car out), Christopher Thram (2nd), Ayrton Gennetten (12th) and Matt Juhl (18th).  Sye Anderson did not get a time and scratched for the night.  Skyler Prochaska (1st car out) set quick time in the second group at 13.501.  He was followed by Jack Dover (3rd), Tasker Phillips (5th), Wade Nygaard (7th) and Ryan Timms (13th).

Heat one (started): 1. Juhl 09 (2) 2. Brooke Tatnell 16 (1) 3. Jeffrey 2 (4) 4. Jack Croaker 8 (5) 5. Thram 24T (3) / 6. Dusty Zomer ACE (7) 7. Jody Rosenboom 14 (6) 8. Alex Schriever 0x (9) 9. Andrew Sullivan 91 (8)

8 laps was the distance.  The invert was 4, with the top 5 going to the feature.  The top eight in points from qualifying and the heats would draw the top four rows of starting spots for the feature.  Juhl led the distance and won going away.  Thram, in his first ever 410 action, was running fourth on lap three when he pulled a wheelie in turn two and lost a couple spots.  He recovered to shut the door on Rosenboom going into one, costing Jody momentum.  Thram recovered for a transfer spot.

Heat two (started): 1. Austin McCarl 88 (1) 2. Johnson 22K (4) 3. Justin Henderson 7 (2) 4. Jake Bubak 1x (5) 5. Gennetten 3 (3) / 6. Tim Estenson 14T (6) 7. Elliot Amdahl 51A (7) DNS -  Sye Anderson 37

McCarl led wire to wire and won by a good distance.  The track was fast and rather narrow at this point.  Bubak grabbed fourth from Gennetten on lap two in the only real pass.

Heat three (started): 1. Brendan Mullen 11m (1) 2. Timms 5T (2) 3. Prochaska 35 (4) 4. Phillips 2KS (3) 5. Riley Goodno 22x (6) / 6. Mark Dobmeier 13 (5) 7. James Broty 33 (7) 8. Alan Gilbertson 97 (8) 9. Nick Otto 22 (9)

Mullen led the distance in a mostly single-file affair.  Timms did gain on the leader in the late stages.

Heat four (started): 1. Dover 81 (4) 2. Chris Martin 44 (1) 3. Jade Hastings 8H (2) 4. Nick Ranten 55 (6) 5. Nygaard 9N (3) / 6. Nick Omdahl 0 (5) 7. Blake Egeland 26 (8) 8. Zach Omdahl 17 (7)

Dover shot to the lead from outside row two on the first lap.  Nygaard spun while running in a transfer spot three laps in.  It would end up being disaster for both Omdahl brothers.  Zach tried to evade the spinning car and tipped over.  He was unhurt, but done.  Nick would inherit the final transfer spot and hold it until a last corner pass by Nygaard.  He would not be able to take the green in the B.

B main (started): 1. Rosenboom (1) 2. Dobmeier (2) 3. Estenson (4) 4. Amdahl (6) / 5. Zomer (3) 6. Broty (5) 7. Gilbertson (9) 8. Egeland (8) 9. Schriever (7) 10. Sullivan (10) 11. Otto (11) 12. Ingle (13) 13. Z. Omdahl (12) DNS – N. Omdahl, Anderson

12 laps, the top four transferred to the A.  Rosenboom led the distance over Dobmeier and Estenson, who challenged several times for second.  Amdahl worked on Zomer and passed him for the final transfer on lap three.

A main (started): 1. Timms (8) 2. Johnson (1) 3. Jeffrey (6) 4. Dover (4) 5. Juhl (7) 6. McCarl (9) 7. Prochaska (2) 8. Phillips (5) 9. Henderson (12) 10. Thram (11) 11. Dobmeier (22) 12. Martin (14) 13. Bubak (18) 14. Hastings (13) 15. Estenson (23) 16. Rosenboom (21) 17. Gennetten (15) 18. Nygaard (16) 19. Goodno (20) 20. Amdahl (24) 21. Croaker (17) 22. Tatnell (10) 23. Mullen (3) 24. Ranten (19)

Johnson shot out to an early lead in the 25-lapper ahead of Prochaska and Dover.  Mullen was running 7th when he spun bringing caution two laps in.  Jeffrey jumped into the top five on the restart.  Johnson was in lapped traffic by lap 8.  On lap ten, Timms slid Dover in turns one and two, and then Prochaska in three and four to go from fourth to second.  Another slider on the lapped car of Croaker came up a bit short and Croaker spun bringing the yellow 11 laps in.  Dover passed Prochaska for third on that restart, and Jeffrey did the same to take fourth on lap 15.  Gennetten spun with nine to go, bringing the final caution.  Johnson led Timms, Dover, Jeffrey and Prochaska back to green.  Tatnell was running sixth, but coming to the restart, lost top wing bolts and had to pull in.  Juhl shot by Prochaska for fifth.  Johnson cruised until getting back into traffic with three to go.  Timms reeled him in on lap 24, and put a slider on him in turn two.  His win was worth $4,000.  Dobmeier was the hard-charger.  Timms will win a $10,000 bonus with a win Saturday at Jackson.
305s

Heat one (started): 1. John Lambertz 12L (1) 2. Matt Johnson 30 (3) 3. Brandon Halverson 13 (2) 4. Koby Werkmeister 31 (6) 5. Tim Rustad F5 (7) 6. Trevor Smith 33 (4) 7. Dan Gripe 3D (5) DNS – Logan Domagala 18L

8 lap heats used passing points to settle the feature.  The fast track lent to little passing, with Lambertz leading the distance.

Heat two (started): 1. Mike Stien 4s (2) 2. Andrew Sullivan 91 (1) 3. Mike Moore 69 (3) 4. Brandon Bosma 23 (7) 5. Jesse Lindberg 7L (4) 6. Monty Ferriera 45 (6) 7. Brandon Buysse 24B (5)

Sullivan led early in his Joel Taylor tribute car over Stien and Moore.  Stien was right on Sullivan’s tail and shot under him with two to go for the win.  Bosma shot from 7th to 4th on lap one.

Heat three (started): 1. Jacob Hughes 8 (1) 2. Jody Rosenboom 4ss (5) 3. Trevor Serbus 10 (7) 4. Bill Johnson 56 (3) 5. Cody Ihien 105 (2) 6. Brandon Allen 55 (6) 7. Ben Crees 23c (4)

Hughes led early over Rosenboom and Johnson.  Serbus grabbed fourth on lap two, and third a lap later.

A main (started): 1. Serbus (7) 2. Halverson (1) 3. Bosma (6) 4. Hughes (2) 5. Stien (9) 6. Sullivan (5) 7. Rosenboom (12) 8. M. Johnson (4) 9. Smith (16) 10. Buysse (20) 11. Werkmeister (3) 12. Ferriera (15) 13. B. Johnson (8) 14. Moore (10) 15. Lambertz (21) 16. Lindberg (14) 17. Ihien (13) 18. Rustad (11) 19. Crees (19) 20. Domagala (22) 21. Griep (17) 22. Allen (18)

This was an entertaining non-stop 20-lap feature.  Lambertz was scheduled to start inside row two, but visited the work area before the green fell.  He restarted at the tail.  Halverson led Hughes, M. Johnson and Serbus up from seventh early.  Serbus passed M. Johnson for third on lap two.  Bosma was into the top five by lap five.  Halverson was into lapped traffic by lap eight.  On lap nine, Serbus passed Hughes on the low side in turn four for second.  Serbus briefly moved by Halverson for the lead on lap 14, but it would take three more rounds to make the winning pass.  Bosma passed Hughes on the high side with three to go for third.  Buysse was the hard-charger.
