30 cars

Aaron Reutzel (23rd car out to time) set quick time on the 3/8-mile oval at 13.927 seconds.  Buddy Kofoid (14th car out) was second quick, followed by Ayrton Gennetten (19th), Austin McCarl (24th), Joe B. Miller (4th), Ian Madsen (2nd), Garet Williamson (5th), Roger Crockett (11th), Gage Montgomery (12th) and Blake Hahn (17th).

The night was a chilly and windy one for May.  The track dried out quickly.

Heat one (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Reutzel 8 (4*) 2. Miller 51B (3*) 3. Carson McCarl 6 (1*) 4. Slater Helt 22s (5*) 5. Tyler Lee 7 (7) 6. Trevin Littleton 1 (8) 7. Dustin Clark 16 (6) 8. Montgomery 79 (2)

8-lap heats added finishing and passing points to points from qualifying.  The top 16 locked into the feature.  C. McCarl led Montgomery, Reutzel and Miller early.  Reutzel passed Montgomery low in four on lap two to take second, and then slid under C. McCarl to lead lap three.  Montgomery, the son of Tim Montgomery, jumped the turn four cushion and flipped four laps in.  He was uninjured and made repairs to make the B.  Miller shot by C. McCarl for second on the restart.

Heat two (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Hahn 52 (2*) 2. Kofoid 71 (4*) 3. Madsen 2KS (3*) 4. Chris Martin 44x (5*) 5. Bobby Mincer 15x (1) 6. Colton Fisher 11x (6) 7. Lane Warner 122 (7) 8. McCain Richards 31 (8)

Hahn led wire to wire.  Kofoid moved up to second with a low side pass of Mincer on lap two.  Madsen followed him into third on lap three with a pass on the low side of turn four.  Martin got by Mincer for fourth coming for the white flag.

Heat three (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Paul Nienhiser 50 (2*) 2. Gennetten 19 (4*) 3. Williamson 24 (3*) 4. Gunner Ramey 21 (5*) 5. Riley Goodno 22 (1) 6. Chase Richards 4 (7) 7. Joey Schmidt 1s (6)

Nienhiser led green to checker.  C. Richards spun five laps in.  Gennetten, in his first night teaming with Brodie Hayward, passed Goodno for second on the restart.  Williamson and Ramey would sneak by Goodno on the last lap.  Schmidt exited early.

Heat four (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Brian Brown 21x (2*) 2. Carson Short 44 (1*) 3. A. McCarl 88 (4*) 4. Crockett 11 (3*) 5. Xavier Doney 74 (7) 6. Will Armitage 7A (5) 7. Jack Potter 15 (6)

Brown led flag to flag in a mostly single-file affair.

B main (started): 1. Lee (2) 2. Goodno (4) 3. Mincer (1) 4. Montgomery (3) / 5. Doney (5) 6. Armitage (7) 7. Fisher (8) 8. Potter (12) 9. Littleton (6) 10. Warner (11) 11. Clark (10) 12. M. Richards (13) 13. C. Richards (9) DNS – Schmidt

The 12-lapper took the top four to the A.  Lee held off Goodno for the duration in just his second 410 start.  Montgomery passed Mincer for third on lap six, as the two battled back and fourth.  Mincer retook the spot for good with three to go.

A main (started): 1. Reutzel (1) 2. Kofoid (2) 3. Gennetten (3) 4. Madsen (7) 5. Miller (4) 6. Hahn (6) 7. Brown (10) 8. Williamson (9) 9. Short (13) 10. A. McCarl (5) 11. Goodno (18) 12. Helt (14) 13. Martin (15) 14. Doney (21, prov.) 15. Littleton (23, prov.) 16. Armitage (22, prov.) 17. Montgomery (20) 18. Ramey (16) 19. Lee (17) 20. Nienhiser (8) 21. Mincer (19) 22. C. McCarl (12) 23. Crockett (11)

The 30-lapper began with a three car incident involving C. McCarl, Montgomery and Ramey.  C. McCarl would exit, as would Crockett, who stopped at the same time on the backstretch.  The caution ruined a great start for Miller, who shot by the front row to take an early lead.  The complete restart saw Kofoid take command, ahead of Reutzel, Gennetten and Miller.  Armitage spun two laps in to bring a second caution.  Reutzel used the restart to pass Kofoid for the lead, ahead of Gennetten, Miller and Hahn.  Madsen shot into fifth after the green fell, and then took fourth from Miller on lap five.  Shortly thereafter, the track yielded to rubber down conditions, making a one-lane train around the bottom.  Lapped traffic became a factor on lap 11, but didn’t affect much.  Montgomery spun with two to go, but it didn’t phase Reutzel, who cashed in $5,000 for his win.
