Joey Saldana lost a wheel and flipped in hot laps.  The team pulled out the backup for qualifying.

Donny Schatz (2nd car out to time) set quick time, followed by Brad Loyet (6th car out), Kerry Madsen (20th), Daryn Pittman (23rd), Paul McMahan (1st), AJ Bruns (7th), Jerrod Hull (3rd), Jim Moughan Jr. (21st), Christopher Bell (39th) and Steve Kinser (22nd).  Brian Brown tagged the turn three wall and took one lap at the end of qualifying.  Jimmy Hurley tagged the wall and was done for the night.  David Gravel suffered motor issues and was 39th quick.  The team changed motors.

Heat one (started): 1. Wayne Johnson 77x (2) 2. Schatz 15 (4) 3. Bruns 44 (3) 4. Sammy Swindell 1 (6) / 5. Danny Smith 4s (7) 6. Logan Schuchart 1s (5) 7. Caleb Wankel 5 (8) 8. Joe B. Miller 51B (1)

Ten lap heats sent the winner to the Dash, and the next top five qualifiers as well.  Johnson led the distance, while Schatz won a great battle with Bruns for second on the last corner.  Miller held a transfer position much of the way before tagging the wall and exiting.

Heat two (started): 1. Jason Sides 7s (7) 2. Parker Price-Miller 9P (1) 3. Bryan Clauson 82 (5) 4. Ian Madsen 18 (6) / 5. Hull 12 (3) 6. Tiffany Wyzard 5w (8) 7. Paul Nienhiser 9x (2) 8. Brad Loyet o5 (4)

When Nienhiser contacted Loyet down the backstretch on the opening lap, all heck broke loose.  I. Madsen and Wyzard spun to avoid them, and Hull suffered nosewing issues that would lose him a transfer spot by race end.  Sides was the beneficiary and took the lead from Price-Miller on lap four to grab a Dash spot.

Heat three (started): 1. Jac Haudenschild 9w (2) 2 K. Madsen 29 (4) 3. Kraig Kinser 11K (1) 4. Brady Bacon 99 (7) / 5. Moughan Jr. 1m (3) 6. Joey Moughan 17m (6) 7. Ben Wagoner 84 (5) 8. Jeremy Standridge 10s (8)

Haud led the distance.  The race was for the final transfer.  Bacon utilized the bottom and Moughan Jr. the top.  Bacon completed his run with a pass for the spot with two to go.

Heat four (started): 1. Brad Sweet 49 (1) 2. Bell 53 (3) 3. Pittman 9 (4) 4. David Gravel 83 (8) / 5. Logan Faucon 52F (2) 6. Bret Tripplett 22 (5) 7. Jimmy Bridgeman 14T (7) 8. Andy Baugh 6B (6)

Sweet led the duration, but there was plenty of action behind him.  Bell and Pittman went at it for second, before Bell shot by for the spot at the halfway point.  Gravel wrestled the final transfer from Faucon after a valiant effort by the youngster to hold the spot.

Heat five (started): 1. Cody Darrah 4 (2) 2. Joey Saldana 71m (1) 3. Brian Brown 21 (6) 4. S. Kinser 11 (3) / 5. McMahan 51 (4) 6. Greg Wilson w20 (5) 7. Jacob Allen 1A (7) DNS – Jimmy Hurley 35

Saldana led the first lap before S. Kinser spun airborne after clipping the turn one infield tire.  He restarted at the rear and stormed back into contention, shooting by McMahan late for the final transfer.  Darrah got by Saldana after the restart for the win, while Joey held off Brown for second in a good battle.

C main (started): 1. Jo. Moughan (1) 2. D. Smith (3) / 3. Baugh (2) 4. Bridgeman (4) 5. Allen (5) 6. Wankel (7) 7. Standridge (8) 8. Wyzard (6)

Jo. Moughan led green to checker in the 10-lapper.  Wyzard hit the turn two wall and got upside down on lap two.  She was uninjured.

Dash (started): 1. Bell (2) 2. Schatz (6) 3. W. Johnson (1) 4. Pittman (4) 5. Darrah (8) 6. Sides (10) 7. Haudenschild (7) 8. Sweet (9) 9. Bruns (3) 10. K. Madsen (5)

Bell and W. Johnson wrestled for the lead early on with Bell taking control in the 8-lapper.  On lap 4, Bruns and K. Madsen were involved in a scrape in turn three.  K. Madsen retired.  Bell led W. Johnson, Schatz, Pittman and Darrah back to green flag racing, with Schatz moving up a spot by race’s end.

B main (started): 1. Nienhiser (4) 2. McMahan (1) 3. Hull (2) 4. Schuchart (7) / 5. Miller (6) 6. Moughan Jr. (3) 7. Faucon (5) 8. Wilson (10) 9. Jo. Moughan (11) 10. Tripplett (9) 11. D. Smith (12) 12. Wagoner (8)

McMahan led early, riding low to middle in the 12-lapper.  Nienhiser was busting the cushion, and got by Hull for second, before reeling the leader in and passing him on lap seven.  Schuchart and Miller battled the last half of the race for the final transfer, with Schuchart grabbing it with two laps to go.

A main (started): 1. Bell (1) 2. Pittman (4) 3. Schatz (2) 4. Sweet (8) 5. Darrah (5) 6. K. Madsen (10) 7. S. Kinser (13) 8. Sides (6) 9. Gravel (24) 10. K. Kinser (16) 11. Bruns (9) 12. Saldana (14) 13. Schuchart (18) 14. Haudenschild (7) 15. Clauson (19) 16. I. Madsen (21) 17. Nienhiser (14) 18. Swindell (20) 19. Brown (22) 20. W. Johnson (3) 21. Hull (12) 22. Price-Miller (15) 23. Bacon (23) 24. McMahan (11)

After Schatz got a rough start in the 40-lapper, Bell took command over Pittman and W. Johnson.  Schatz would grab third by the third lap.  On lap five an incident involving Haudenschild and eliminating McMahan brought a caution.  Bell led Pittman, Schatz, W. Johnson and Sweet back to green.  No one had anything for Bell by the time I. Madsen stopped with twelve laps either.  Sweet had taken fourth, and Darrah fifth.  The top five remained the same on a lap 30 restart for a stopped Sammy Swindell.  There had been one close call in lapped traffic for Bell, but he cruised the final ten laps as rubber had been laid by then.  Gravel was the hard-charger, going from 24th to 9th.  W. Johnson lost a motor while running in the top ten.
