Devon Borden beat the All Stars at Stateline Speedway FridayDevon Borden beat the All Stars at Stateline Speedway Friday By Daniel Nelligan

The All Star Circuit of Champions made their highly anticipated return to Stateline Speedway on Friday night, kicking off the Fourth of July Frenzy in thrilling fashion. Twenty-three 410 Sprint Cars headlined the program — the richest Sprint Car event in track history — joined by the RUSH Late Models, RUSH Pro Mods, Challengers, and Pro Stocks.

The evening began with hot laps and qualifying sessions, where Cale Thomas blistered the track with a 14.817 to steal quick time honors from early leader Matt Farnham (15.017). Calib Henry was the only other driver to dip into the 14-second bracket, clocking in at 14.887.

The All Stars followed with three high-paced heat races. Zane DeVault held off the blazing-fast Thomas in Heat 1. Kalib Henry surged from fourth to first in Heat 2 on the first lap. Bradford native Jared Zimbardi started on pole in Heat 3, but it was Bobby Elliott who grabbed the lead on Lap 1 and never looked back.

The All Star feature marked their first appearance at Stateline since 2022 and delivered the night’s biggest fireworks. Originally set to start from the pole, Matt Farnham was docked for jumping the start, giving the lead to Devon Borden. Farnham stayed glued to Borden’s tail and nearly pulled off a slider on Lap 4. Heavy traffic gave Farnham a few chances, but Borden navigated it cleaner. A late caution restacked the field, but Borden held strong to secure his first career All Star win — and the biggest Sprint Car payout in Stateline Speedway history. Greg Wilson was the hard charger, storming from 17th to 7th.
