Austin McCarl (17th car out to time) set quick time at 12.862 seconds. Chris Martin (10th car out) was second quick, followed by Jack Anderson (19th), Carson McCarl (21st), Joe B. Miller (14th), Ayrton Gennetten (18th), Xavier Doney (13th), Sean Rayhall (16th), Scotty Milan (5th) and JJ Hickle (11th).

Schneiderman led wire-to-wire. Anderson took third from Milan on lap three.

The $5,000 to win 30-lapper saw X. Doney leading Gennetten, A. McCarl, Miller and Anderson early. Miller used the low side to pass A. McCarl for third on lap two. A. McCarl came back on the high side in a good battle to reclaim the spot on lap six. X. Doney started lapping backmarkers on lap eight. Miller got under A. McCarl in heavy lapped traffic to reclaim third on lap 11. Rayhall was running sixth on lap 19 when he turned over in turn four. He was uninjured. The restart saw X Doney take the inside line on the double-file restart ahead of Gennetten, Miller, A. McCarl, Anderson and Martin. A. McCarl took the high side to go from fourth to second, while Martin moved into fifth. With nine to go, the fifth running Martin would spin and collect the sixth polace car of Anderson. X. Doney again took the inside line on the restart. Montgomery shot from sixth to fourth on the restart, but Miller relained the spot on lap 23. 27 laps in, A. McCarl made a bid for the lead, briefly getting by X. Doney in three and four with a slider. X. Doney dove back under, and A. McCarl took the high line in two, getting over the top and coming to a stop. With just three laps to go, X. Doney lead Gennetten, Miller, Hickle, Barnard and Montgomery back to green. Miller moved into second on the restart, with Hickle moving into fourth and Montgomery fifth. Montgomyer would pass both Barnard and Hickle for fourth coming for the white flag. The win was X. Doney’s third with the POWRi series. Montgomery was the hard-charger, moving up 14 spots.
