Frank Cozze and Brent Marks didn't register a time. Marks scratched for the night, and Cozze returned for the B.

Esh led the distance in the 10-lapper. The top five finishers transferred through the heats. Esh and Layton left the rest behind in this one. Krimes made his move by Dietrich early for the final transfer.

Heat three (started): 1. Cliff Brian 16 (1) 2. Jason Johnson 41 (4) 3. Tyler Walker 17 (3) 4. Shaffer 88 (5) 5. Rahmer 51 (6) / 6. Aaron Ott 77 (2) 7. Nicole Bower 75 (8) 8. Keith Kauffman 8H (7) DNS – Brent Marks 19m

Brian led early before Kauffman came to a stop with possible rear-end problems with two in the books. Brian led Ott, J. Johnson, Walker, Shaffer and Rahmer back to green. Rahmer had grabbed fifth before the caution came out, but had to restart sixth. Ott went up in smoke while running second on lap eight, and Rahmer assumed the fifth and final transfer. J. Johnson made a late bid for the lead but fell short.

Heat four (started): 1. Daryn Pittman 27 (2) 2. Mike Wagner 55 (1) 3. Ryan Taylor 20 (3) 4. Brian Montieth 21 (4) 5. Dewease 30c (5) / 6. Buckwalter 17B (6) 7. Sam Hafertepe Jr. 93 (7) 8. Brian Ehrenzeller 33 (8)

Pittman held the lead flag to flag, but Wagner applied plenty of pressure on the new clay surface.

Kauffman (24)

M. Smith led early before Pittman slowed and brought a caution with two in the books. M. Smith led Shaffer, Dewease, Krimes and Rahmer back to green flag racing. Hodnett was ninth. One more lap was completed when Rahmer backed into the turn one wall. Hard to see if something broke or he got help. M. Smith still led, with Hodnett restarting fifth. Five laps later, the final slowdown of the 30-lapper came when Taylor did a 360 spin and kept it going. M. Smith led Shaffer, Dewease, Hodnett and Krimes back to green. Hodnett worked by Dewease and then Shaffer to grab second by the halfway mark. After several laps sizing up the leader, he took the point on lap 23 and pulled away for the win as well as hard-charger honors. M. Smith held onto second, while Dewease won a good battle with Shaffer for third.
