410s

Dusty Zomer (2nd car out to time) set quick time on a fast track at 14.787 seconds. Ian Madsen (22nd car out) was two-thousandths of a second behind him in second, followed by Bronson Maeschen, Don Droud Jr., Skip Jackson, Brian Brown, Josh Schneiderman, Johnny Herrera, Mark Dobmeier and Davey Heskin. Sid Blandford Jr., and Rager Phillips, who scratched after hot laps did not get a time in.

Heat one (started): 1. Zomer 91 (4) 2. Schneiderman 49 (2) 3. Droud Jr. 47 (5) 4. Lynton Jeffrey 12 (1) 5. Heskin 56 (3) 6. Ricky Logan 10a (7) 7. Russ Hall 24 (8) 8. Sid Blandford Jr. 7 (6)

Hall elected for the tail. Jeffrey led lap one in the 8-lapper, but Zomer shot to the point on the second go-around and pulled away to dominate this one. The top five kept their time spots for the feature.

Heat two (started): 1. Herrera 2w (4) 2. Mike Moore 69 (1) 3. Jackson 2 (5) 4. Madsen 55 (6) 5. Austin McCarl 17A (3) 6. Robby Wolfgang 7K (7) 7. Bob Weuve 19 (2) DNS - Rager Phillips 10

Moore led early. Herrera was quickly into second and took the lead at the halfway point. A lap five caution for a spun Weuve (Wolfgang did well to take evasive action) resulted in Herrera leading Moore, Madsen, Jackson and McCarl back to green. Jackson was able to move by Madsen when he slowed on the final lap.

Heat three (started): 1. Dobmeier 13 (4) 2. Brown 21 (5) 3. Mike Deavers 72 (1) 4. Mike Reinke 02 (3) 5. Maeschen 1 (6) 6. Jessica Zemken 14 (2) 7. Joey Moughan 21x (7)

Dobmeier shot by Deavers in turn four to lead lap one, and the race from flag to flag. Brown worked by Deavers in the last corner to gain second at the checkers.

A main (started): 1. Brown (1) 2. Jackson (2) 3. Herrera (8) 4. Droud Jr. (3) 5. Jeffrey (13) 6. Maeschen (4) 7. Dobmeier (9) 8. Heskin (10) 9. Madsen (5) 10. McCarl (11) 11. Reinke (12) 12. Logan (19) 13. Wolfgang (20) 14. Zemken (18) 15. Deavers (15) 16. Weuve (17) 17. Moore (14) 18. Moughan (21) 19. Zomer (6) 20. Schneiderman (7) 21. Blandford Jr. (22) 22. Hall (16) DNS - Phillips

Jackson shot out to an early lead in the 25-lapper. Brown tucked in behind him, followed by Maeschen and Droud. Soon Herrera was in the top five and took fourth by a lap six caution for Heskin, who performed a 360 spin and kept it going. Dobmeier had nowhere to go, and was collected by Heskin. After a trip to the work area, Dobmeier would restart at the tail. Heskin would come in to replace a flat right rear (from the contact with Dobmeier a lap later). Zomer brought out a caution on that lap with a flat left rear. Herrera worked his way by Maeschen as the laps wore on, and on lap 16, Schneiderman slowed and brought another caution. He retired. Jackson led Brown, Herrera, Maeschen and Droud back to green flag racing. The third restart was a charm for Brown, who had momentum heading into turn three to take the lead for good. Moughan stopped a lap later to bring out the final caution, and strain all the fuel tanks. Brown sputtered across the line to record his 19th career 410 win at Knoxville, $3,500 and his second track championship (he entered the night with an 81 point lead). Jeffrey was the hard-charger, finishing fifth.

360s

Ryan Roberts (12th car out to time) set a new 360 track record in qualifying with a lap of 15.726 seconds, breaking Sammy Swindell's mark that was set at the Master's Classic this year. Josh Higday (6th car out) was second quick, followed by Clint Garner (17th), Dustin Selvage (10th), Jon Agan (22nd), Russ Hall (8th), Nate Van Haaften (15th), Dave Hall (16th), Rager Phillips (14th) and Matt Moro (4th).

Heat one (started): 1. Robby Wolfgang 7K (1) 2. Van Haaften 3 (4) 3. Moro 2m (3) 4. Selvage 7 (5) 5. Dylan Peterson 25 (2) 6. Jarrod Schneiderman 88 (7) 7. Alan Zoutte 33 (8) 8. Roberts 18 (6)

Wolfgang led flag to flag. On lap two, Roberts flipped in turn three. He was uninjured, but done for the night.

Heat two (started): 1. David Hall 51 (2) 2. Jesse Giannetto 10 (1) 3. Chad Humston 1m (3) 4. Higday 2 (4) 5. Agan 4 (5) 6. Danny Heskin 6 (7) 7. Dave Glennon 5 (6) DNS - Billy Alley 54

D. Hall inherited a front row starting spot and set sail in the 7-lapper.

Beaver (17) 13. Heskin (19) 14. Wolfgang (13) 15. Schneiderman (18) 16. Heimbaugh (20) 17. Zoutte (21) 18. Ball (15) 19. Higday (6) 20. Peterson (11) 21. Glennon (22)

Garner entered the race with a 38.5 point lead and left little doubt with a strong run to his second 360 championship in a row. Van Haaften looked strong, and led early in the 20-lapper. On lap four, Heimbaugh spun, bringing caution. On the restart, Glennon was in the wall in turn four, and Peterson tipped over in turn two. Both were done. Agan shot to the front on the restart ahead of Van Haaften, Garner, Higday and R. Hall. Three laps later, a third running Higday went up in smoke and brought out the last caution of the race. Agan led Garner, R. Hall, Van Haaften and R. Phillips back to green. Agan was never headed in winning his second Knoxville feature in a row, and the third in his career.

Kubli (20) DQ (scales) - St. Arnold (6, crossed 3rd) DNS - Carlberg, Lenz

The first start was called back, and St. Arnold was penalized two rows for jumping. T. Phillips shot out to a commanding lead and left the rest behind in the 12-lapper. Ross settled into second, with St. Arnold quickly moving into the top five and then third ahead of Breazeale. Breazeale clinched the first 305 driver championship with his run. T. Phillips clinched the owner championship for Phillips Racing. Ball made a late charge to finish second, while St. Arnold's strong third place run was washed out when he didn't report to the scales.
