On more lap was in the books when Humston came out of turn four and something appeared to loosen him up. He tagged the wall, and broke his front end. Despite a quick clean-up, a lengthy open red ensued. Stewart inherited the lead ahead of Selvage, a charging Swindell, Maeschen and a surging J. Johnson. By the time Davey Heskin brought out a yellow with ignition problems with 13 in the books, Swindell and Jason Johnson had gotten by Selvage. Hannagan entered the top five with another lap in, and another caution for Bacon, who got into the turn one wall. The next ten laps went green, with Stewart holding Swindell at bay and approaching lap traffic. Hannagan stopped in turn two on the white flag lap setting up a green, white, checker finish. Stewart was unphased, and won his second 360 Nationals title, pocketing $10,000 for his third career 360 win at Knoxville.
