Ballenger shot out to an early lead, but with a lap in, an inadvertent yellow was called. The restart saw Ballenger leading T. McCarl, Kerzman, C. Meyer and T. Meyer. T. McCarl shot under Ballenger on lap four to take the lead. On lap seven, Dy. Peterson stopped on the track, bringing caution. Kubli had been into the top five, but jumped the berm on the backstretch and slavaged sixth for the restart. The restart would see him jump it again and need a new left rear tire. It was time for a fuel stop. T. McCarl led Ballenger, C. Meyer, Kerzman and Bakker who had a pass for fourth negated by the caution. Dy. Peterson spun again on the restart and was sent to the pits. T. McCarl pulled away, but two laps later, Jones spun and retired, and Bakker exited from fifth. Two laps later, the final slowdown came for Rosenboom, who stopped after contact with a charging Garner (from the tail). The final restart saw T. McCarl ahead of Ballenger, C. Meyer, T. Meyer, Kerzman and Garner. C. Meyer made quick work of Ballenger for second, while Garner moved up to fourth. T. McCarl cruised to the win worth $2,500. Ossenfort was the hard-charger.
