"Well I wish I knew and I don't know," is what Don Droud Jr., driver/owner of the Dare 2 Racing Team, says contributes to his success at Junction Motor Speedway. "I've ran everything from 360ci sprints, 410ci sprints with the World of Outlaws, and dirt midgets at JMS, it's just one of those track I get."  During the 2016 season, Don picked up 2 wins at JMS with using that experience driving those vehicles at the newly configured 3/8 mile facility.  .

Don Droud Jr. is hoping to take that experience at JMS and "park it" in victory lane again this Saturday night.  Although, he isn't a regular with the Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprint Series presented by Malvern Bank, he does plan on racing with us when he's not touring with the NCRA and hitting closer World of Outlaw races near Nebraska.

When he is not racing his family owned sprint car, Don is driving a sprint car for the Ochs 1x racing team out of western Kansas.  He finished 19th with the World of Outlaws earlier this month at 81 Speedway in Wichita, Kansas.  The 2016 NCRA points champion will again compete for a tour championship with them as well as race the Knoxville 360 Nationals and Knoxville Nationals.

Don would also like to thank his sponsors for making this family owned team possible; Casey's General Stores, Rasmussen Auto Supply in York, Nebraska, R.B. Harman, Mark Burch Motorsports, BP Racing Products, and Mitchell, Pierson.

The Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprint Series presented by Malvern Bank will makes its way to Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Nebraska this Saturday evening.  The track underwent a new configuration during the offseason.

"The track is now a 3/8 mile oval taken down from a 4/10 mile.  The front stretch was shortened by 70 feet and that was accomplished by bringing in the infield berms creating a multilane track that has produced much closer racing.  Car counts are up and the drivers seem extremely happy thus far," says Mackenzie Sherer, manager at the track.

This is the first of 3 stops at Junction Motor Speedway.  The pits open at 4 and races beginning at 7 Saturday evening.  For more information visit www.junctionmotorspeedway.com.
