34 cars

Heat one (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Mike Boston 51 (1*) 2. Ryan Roberts 18 (2*) 3. Jason Danley 82 (4*) 4. Mitch Runge 28 (6*) 5. Don Droud Jr. 2 (8*) 6. AJ Selenke 43 (7) 7. Josh Higday 10 (5) 8. Dylan Peterson 25 (3) 9. Justin Medlock 05 (9)

Boston led the distance in the 8-lapper. The top 16 in passing points from the heats moved on to the feature, while the top 8 qualified for the redraw. Droud moved up well from the rear and worked over Runge (who was making himself wide) for the last several laps, just falling short.

Heat two (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Jack Dover 24A (1*) 2. Ryan Bickett 17B (3*) 3. Lee Grosz 4J (5*) 4. Lou Kennedy Jr. 21K (9*) 5. Bryan Dobesh 54 (4) 6. Chad Humston 1m (6) 7. Eric Lutz 5 (7) 8. Trevor Grossenbacher 35 (2) 9. John Klabunde 77 (8)

Dover ran away with this one, while the prime mover was L. Kennedy. He passed Dobesh for fifth with two laps to go.

Heat three (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Dustin Morgan 93 (8*) 2. Jake Ossenfort 99J (3*) 3. Doug Lovegrove 44 (6*) 4. Thomas Kennedy 20K (1) 5. Danielle Ossenfort 10D (5) 6. Gage Dorr 17 (4) 7. John VanDenBerg K9 (2) 8. Jay Russell 76 (7)

Three cars finished this one. Russell exited right away with an ill sounding motor. VanDenBerg stalled on lap two while running second. Under yellow, Dorr, who was running behind VanDenBerg went pitside. Also under the caution, D. Ossenfort went to the pits with a flat left rear. Finally, T. Kennedy was leading on lap six when his car went up in smoke and was done for the night. Morgan benefited by garnering the most passing points.

Heat four (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Billy Alley 22 (3*) 2. Toby Chapman 32 (1*) 3. Gregg Bakker 11x (4*) 4. Jody Rosenboom 14 (2) 5. Robby Wolfgang 7K (6*) 6. Tige Jensen 71 (7) 7. Dusty Ballenger 2D (5) 8. JD Johnson 98 (8)

Chapman led lap one, but that was it. Alley took over and pulled away from the field. Bakker worked over Chapman for the second spot late in the going, but fell short.

B main (started): 1. Dobesh (2) 2. Rosenboom (1) 3. Humston (7) 4. Selenke (5) / 5. Jensen (4) 6. Johnson (10) 7. Higday (8) 8. Ballenger (11) 9. Peterson (14) 10. Russell (12) 11. VanDenBerg (17) 12. Dorr (6) 13. Medlock (13) 14. D. Ossenfort (3) 15. Lutz (9) 16. Grossenbacher (16) 17. Klabunde (15) DNS – T. Kennedy

The 12-lap B was led the whole way by Dobesh. The race went non-stop until a lap seven yellow for a stopped Grossenbacher. Dobesh led Rosenboom, Selenke, Jensen and Humston back to green flag racing. Two laps later, Lutz entered the picture and had a run on Humston for the fifth spot on the low side of turn two. Humston came down and tapped Lutz, spinning him out. Lutz retired. The restart with three laps to go saw Dobesh ahead of Rosenboom, Selenke, Jensen and Humston again. This time, Humston used a strong move to take both Jensen and Selenke to grab third. Jensen's made a late ditch effort at Selenke for the final transfer, but couldn't get it done.

A main (started): 1. Morgan (1) 2. Dover (2) 3. Grosz (9) 4. Roberts (10) 5. Bakker (13) 6. Humston (19) 7. Bickett (6) 8. Danley (12) 9. Dobesh (17) 10. Rosenboom (18) 11. J. Ossenfort (8) 12. Wolfgang (16) 13. Lovegrove (4) 14. L. Kennedy (7) 15. Boston (5) 16. Droud Jr. (15) 17. Alley (3) 18. Runge (14) 19. Selenke (20) 20. Chapman (11)

Morgan took off early with Alley in tow. Soon Dover shot around Alley in a good battle for the runner-up spot, and on lap four, Dobesh spun on the backstretch. Morgan led Dover, Alley, a charging Grosz and L. Kennedy back to green. The top five remained the same, when Wolfgang spun two laps later. After the restart, Alley worked the low side to shoot in front of Dover for second. As the leaders entered lapped traffic, Morgan slowed a bit, and Alley pounced for the lead on lap 14. Shortly thereafter, Runge flipped on the backstretch. He was uninjured. Alley led Morgan, Dover, a surging Bakker and Grosz back to the green. Alley pulled away from the field and looked to repeat his win in the opener of one year ago at I-80. Unfortunately for him, a busted right front spindle sent the wheel flying down the frontstretch. He kept the car in control, but was towed to the pits. Morgan assumed the lead, and pulled away through the last two restarts. The last one on lap 22, was a bad break for Droud, who stopped while running fifth, after starting fifteenth. With Hall of Famer Ken Woodruff spinning wrenches, Morgan collected $1,500 for his win. Humston was the hard-charger.
