D. Wood led S. Swindell after the first lap of 40. Rains spun bringing out the caution flag with one lap in the books. Wood led S. Swindell, Crawley, W. Johnson and J. Johnson back to green. S. Swindell took the point after the restart, and on lap five, J. Johnson and Crawley came together in turn three, sending Crawley into a spin. As his crew went to work, another lap could not be completed. S. Swindell had developed a flat left rear tire during the caution. After the green fell he limped through turns one and two. W. Johnson swerved to avoid him and J. Johnson was left with nowhere to go. He jumped W. Johnson's right rear and flipped. He was unhurt but done for the night. S. Swindell and Crawley made repairs and restarted at the rear. Now D. Wood was back up front ahead of W. Johnson, Bruce Jr., Skinner and S. Stewart. Bruce got around W. Johnson and D. Wood on the next go-around. Logan spun bringing out another caution. Bruce's lead was ahead of Wood, W. Johnson, Rilat and a surging Stewart. Stewart had moved by W. Johnson for third on lap ten, but spun into a 360 spin and lost several spots. Allard was surging into the top ten by lap 15. Contact was made with McMahan who flipped hard into the backstretch fencing. Allard suffered damage as well, and despite the open red, had to continue without his nose wing. The restart saw Bruce leading Wood, W. Johnson, Rilat and Stewart with 25 laps to go. The rest of the event went non-stop, with Bruce out front comfortably. Shortly after the restart, W. Johnson passed Wood for second, and would hold it the rest of the way. Stewart surged late for third, with Rilat holding down fourth. S. Swindell came all the way back from the rear to complete the top five, while Allard brought his crippled mount home sixth. Hockett was the hard-charger. The win was worth $15,000 and was Bruce's second in a row at the STN.
