An unbelievably long night commenced at LOS on Sunday into Monday, concluding at 3 a.m. Two separate incidents brought the first turn fence down, requiring about an hour of repairs for each. A number of incidents, some due to the heavy, tacky racing surface slowed things. Throw in a fuel stop with two to go in the finale, and the race concluded with a heavy fog enveloping the 1/3 mile oval.

Heat one (started): 1. Forrest Sutherland 85s (2) 2. Steven Cross 19s (1) 3. David Brown 48 (3) / 4. Mike Burkin 48B (5) 5. Terry Hinck 21H (9) 6. Jake Martens 0T (7) 7. Dustin Barks 22 (6) 8. Jon Corbin 4c (8) 9. Robbie Standridge 12x (10) 10. JD Black 7J (4)

10-lap heats transferred the top three to the A. Heat winners went to the dash. The heavy surface lent for little passing, but Sutherland blew them away. Black suffered a right front flat and exited.

Heat two (started): 1. Mark Shirshekan 3 (1) 2. Randy Hibbs 2A (2) 3. Eric Todd 21T (4) / 4. Evan Martin 4 (5) 5. Mitchell Alexander 9m (3) 6. Tony Crank 9c (6) 7. Haley Arnold 165 (8) 8. Jordan Goldesberry 65 (7) 9. Jason Martin 36 (9)

Martin tried one and two above the cushion, gaining four spots after the green. The price was a hard flip in two. He was done for the night. Goldesberry had worked into the third and final transfer when he hit the steep turn four cushion and the right rear went.

Heat three (started): 1. Josh Fisher 86 (2) 2. Frank Brown 43 (4) 3. Tony Bruce Jr. 18 (8) / 4. Mike Boston 88B (5) 5. Mike Trent 10 (7) 6. Todd McVay 89 (9) 7. Zach Chappell 92 (3) 8. Corey Moore 17c (1) 9. Taylor Walton 93 (6)

C. Moore flipped on the backstretch on lap two after breaking the front axle. Walton was collected. Chappell stopped while running fourth a lap later and was done for the night. Bruce went eighth to third in the first two laps.

Heat four (started): 1. Randy Martin 14 (6) 2. Jeff Wingate 15 (2) 3. Dusty Murray 46m (4) / 4. Adam Jones 1A (7) 5. Austin Alumbaugh 33 (5) 6. Kyle Bellm 14K (8) 7. Rusty Potter 3P (9) 8. Dakota Carroll 11c (1) 9. Kyle Carpenter 17 (3)

Wingate grabbed the early lead, but R. Martin dogged him until taking the point on lap six.

Heat five (started): 1. Jack Dover 53 (6) 2. Chris Walker 18w (2) 3. Cody Baker 38 (1) / 4. Mitchell Moore 19 (5) 5. Kaley Gharst 7K (7) 6. Jonathan Cornell 28 (3) 7. Ryan Roberts 18R (9) 8. Jason Hunt 19H (8) 9. Lanny Carpenter 24 (4)

Walker led early. Dover advanced to second before a lap five red for Hunt, who took a wild ride in two. He was unhurt. Dover took over on the restart in probably the stoutest of the heats.

Heat six (started): 1. Brady Bacon 99 (1) 2. Curtis Evans 1P (2) 3. Bryan Grimes 6 (4) / 4. Brian Brown 21 (5) 5. J Kinder 88 (3) 6. Tyler Blank 75 (6) 7. Clint Todd 10T (7) 8. Curtis Boyer 72 (9) 9. Rusty Quick 29 (8)

Evans led the whole way, until Bacon finally worked under him on the last lap. Brown's outside attempt at Grimes in turn four on the last lap was met with a right rear reply.

B main one (started): 1. Boston (3) 2. E. Martin (2) / 3. Burkin (1) 4. Goldesberry (10) 5. Hinck (4) 6. Corbin (13) 7. Walton (12) 8. Martens (7) 9. Black (14) 10. McVay (9) 11. Alexander (5) 12. Crank (8) 13. Arnold (11) 14. Trent (6) DNS - Barks, Chappell, C. Moore, Standridge, J. Martin

E. Martin led early in the 10-lapper. Boston dogged him and got by on lap seven. Two laps later, Boston performed a wheelie the length of the backstretch, and narrowly missed the turn three wall. He held on.

B main two (started): 1. A. Jones (1) 2. Gharst (5) / 3. Bellm (7) 4. Cornell (8) 5. Potter (10) 6. Kinder (6) 7. Blank (9) 8. Quick (16) 9. C. Todd (12) 10. Boyer (13) 11. K. Carpenter (14) 12. L. Carpenter (15) 13. B. Brown (3) 14. M. Moore (2) 15. Alumbaugh (4) 16. Carroll (11) DNS - Roberts, Hunt

A. Jones led the distance. Brown worked by M. Moore for second early, but spun with two laps in the books, collecting M. Moore and ending their nights.

A main (started): 1. Fisher (5) 2. Bruce Jr. (15) 3. R. Martin (6) 4. Dover (2) 5. A. Jones (20) 6. Gharst (22) 7. Evans (12) 8. E. Todd (14) 9. Trent (24, alt.) 10. Sutherland (1) 11. Boston (19) 12. Walker (11) 13. Cross (7) 14. Alumbaugh (23, alt.) 15. E. Martin (21) 16. Murray (16) 17. Bacon (3) 18. Shirshekan (4) 19. Wingate (10) 20. F. Brown (9) 21. D. Brown (13) 22. Hibbs (8) 23. C. Baker (17) 24. Grimes (18)

Sutherland snuck the lead on the first lap of the 30-lapper, but Dover got around on the second circuit. He opened up a huge advantage by lap 12, when Hibbs stopped on the backstraight. Dover suffered a flat right rear during the caution, and had to take it pitside to change it. Bacon inherited the lead over Shirshekan, Sutherland, Fisher and R. Martin. Bacon took off, but four laps later, D. Brown folded his front end. Now Bacon led Shirshekan, Fisher, R. Martin and a charging Bruce Jr. Bacon cruised out front until lap 22, when Boston spun, after drivng from 19th to 6th. Bruce Jr. had taken fourth from R. Martin. Bacon and Shirshekan took off again, but lap 25 would spell disaster for both, when the lapped car of Wingate spun right in front of them, ending their nights. Fisher assumed the lead ahead of Bruce, R. Martin, a charging A. Jones and Dover from the tail. Murray and E. Martin tangled with two laps to go, and the cars required a fuel stop. Fisher was able to hold on the final two laps for the $4,000 win. Gharst was the official hard-charger moving forward 16 spots.

305s

Heat one (started): 1. Jack Potter 1 (3) 2. Mitchell Moore 51 (5) 3. Tyler Utz 98 (1) 4. Michael White 46 (4) / 5. Matt Simpson 02 (6) 6. Brad Ryun 1x (2) 7. Gavin Galbraith 03 (9) 8. Eric Todd 29T (7) 9. Mike Schouten 27 (8)

Heats were 8 laps in distance, and took the top four to the main. The green flew and Schouten flipped wildly into the turn one fence. The repairs brought a one-hour delay. Contact between J. Potter and Ryun resulted in the latter spinning and going to the tail on the restart. Utz took the early lead. Galbraith slammed the turn two wall hard on the second lap, and was done for the night. E. Todd went off on the hook under caution. Utz led J. Potter, White, M. Moore and Simpson back to green. J. Potter took the lead on lap four. Ryun slowed and exited on lap seven.

Heat two (started): 1. Brady Bacon 99 (6) 2. Ryan Schlender 15s (3) 3. Austin Alumbaugh 82A (7) 4. Dakota Carroll 11c (4) / 5. Matt Close 5c (8) 6. Haley Arnold 165 (1) 7. Andrew Turley 14 (5) 8. Steve Lawrence 29w (9) 9. Casey Baker 9 (2)

Schlender took the early lead after the front row of Arnold and Baker was sent back a row for a bad start. Bacon was on the move and slid in front on lap four. Two laps later, Baker's powerplant was shelled.

Heat three (started): 1. Zach Clark 29c (3) 2. Brian Beebe 37 (2) 3. Randy Roberts 1R (5) 4. Kenny Potter 55 (4) / 5. Chris Coleman 10 (7) 6. Rob Kubli 23K (6) 7. Dave Long 13L (1) 8. John Thoenen 21 (9) 9. Kory Bales 5 (8)

Z. Clark led the distance. Bales flipped hard on lap three. He was uninjured.

Heat four (started): 1. Tom McGarry 63 (1) 2. Andy Helm 12 (2) 3. Jason Martin 36 (4) 4. J Kinder 88 (5) / 5. Matt Krieger 27K (3) 6. Chad Tye 88T (7) 7. Joe Gerber 51x (8) 8. Scott Wedelstadt 7 (6)

McGarry led the distance.

B main one (started): 1. Coleman (2) 2. Ryun (3) / 3. Simpson (1) 4. E. Todd (5) 5. Kubli (4) 6. Long (6) 7. Thoenen (7) DNS - Galbraith, Schouten, Bales

Coleman led flag to flag in the 8-lapper.

B main two (started): 1. Krieger (2) 2. Close (1) / 3. Tye (4) 4. Gerber (6) 5. Turley (5) 6. Arnold (3) 7. Lawrence (7) 8. Wedelstadt (8) DNS - Baker

Krieger pulled away and led the distance.

A main (started): 1. Bacon (2) 2. Alumbaugh (10) 3. M. Moore (5) 4. Schlender (6) 5. J. Martin (12) 6. J. Potter (1) 7. K. Potter (15) 8. Ryun (19) 9. Beebe (7) 10. White (13) 11. Coleman (17) 12. Helm (8) 13. Clark (3) 14. Close (20) 15. Utz (9) 16. Carroll (14) 17. Kinder (16) 18. McGarry (4) 19. Roberts (11) 20. Krieger (18)

Bacon shot out immediately in the 25-lapper. On the third go-around, Krieger became the second #27 to stick his car in the turn one fence. Roberts saw the red late and ran over the right rear of McGarry, sending Roberts upside down on the frontstretch. This delay took a little longer than the first. Bacon took off after the delay and had lapped up to the eighth spot by the white flag lap when Utz went up in smoke and brought caution. Despite a charge from Alumbaugh, Bacon had no peer in the $1,000 win in his first time aboard a 305. Ryun was the hard-charger.
