Billy Balog (11th car out to time) set quick time on the 3/8 mile oval at 12.884 seconds. Jesse Hockett (34th car out) was second quick, followed by Josh Schneiderman (32nd), Bronson Maeschen (18th), Mike Reinke (30th), Steve Meyer (31st), Kaley Gharst (4th), Johnny Herrera (8th), John Haeni (17th) and Ryan Irwin (24th). Scott Biertzer went up in smoke and failed to get a time in. He was a scratch for the night. Tony Shilling also failed to get a time in, and Bill Wirth had mechanical issues.

Rain hit just before the heats started, delaying the program for just over an hour.

Heat one (started): 1. Balog 17B (4) 2. Haeni 21J (2) 3. Matt Sutton 3 (1) 4. Reinke 02 (5) / 5. Dave Uttech 68 (3) 6. Justin Parrish 4J (6) 7. Andy Hunt 9A (7) 8. Troy Manteufel K9 (8) 9. Jimmy Davies 99 (9) DNS – Jim Moughan Jr. 83

Moughan hit the pits on the pace lap. Haeni took an early lead and held it through a caution for a stopped Davies. Sutton held tough in second with 360 power, before fast timer Balog moved by with two laps to go. On the last lap, he repeated the move on Haeni to take the win.

Heat two (started): 1. Brian Brown 21 (3) 2. Hockett 13 (6) 3. Austin McCarl 17A (1) 4. Steve Meyer 85m (5) / 5. Irwin 49 (4) 6. Lynton Jeffrey 24 (2) 7. Matt Vandervere 10v (7) 8. Andy Huston 40 (8) 9. Tony Shilling 2T (9) 10. Donnie Steward 16HD (8) DNS – Bobby Mincer 15

Jeffrey led early in the 10-lapper. Brown shot around him on lap two, but the pass was negated by a lap two spin. Jeffrey led Brown, McCarl, Hockett and Meyer back to green flag racing. Steward spun on lap six to slow things again. After the restart, Jeffrey's left rear tire started to deflate and Brown took the point.

Heat three (started): 1. Ryan Anderson 71R (1) 2. Gharst 51 (3) 3. Schneiderman 49J (6) 4. Mike Moore 69 (4) / 5. Phillip Mock 1m (2) 6. John Schulz 2J (5) 7. Russel Borland 23 (8) 8. Tony Daniels 14 (7) 9. Nick Alden 8A (9) DNS – Ryan Jamison 51J

Anderson pulled away to lead flag to flag. Jamison had brake caliper problems. Schneiderman passed Mock to get into a transfer spot with two to go, then made a last lap pass of Moore for third.

Heat four (started): 1. Billy Hafemann 2B (1) 2. Scott Neitzel 2w (3) 3. Herrera 2 (5) 4. Scott Uttech 3K (2) / 5. Rager Phillips 9 (4) 6. Kris Spitz 4K (7) 7. Bill Wirth 53w (8) 8. Scott Lenz 99s (8) 9. Matt Harms 53H (9) 10. Maeschen 1 (6) DNS – Scott Biertzer 4B

Maeschen jumped the cushion and hooked the heavy surface flipping upside down. He was uninjured. Hafemann led flag to flag holding off Neitzel and Herrera in some good action. The last three laps in traffic were hectic.

B main one (started): 1. Jeffrey (3) 2. D. Uttech (2) 3. Parrish (6) / 4. Irwin (1) 5. Schulz (5) 6. Shilling (12) 7. Borland (7) 8. Davies (8) 9. Daniels (9) 10. Manteufel (10) 11. Alden (11) 12. Jamison (4)

D. Uttech led the 12-lapper for most of the way. Jeffrey tracked him down on lap 10. Parrish passed Irwin on the last lap for the final transfer. The crowd was in a lather afterwards when it appeared Irwin deliberately rammed Parrish after the checkers sending him into the wall.

B main two (started): 1. Mock (3) 2. Moughan (2) 3. Wirth (10) / 4. Spitz (5) 5. Vandervere (6) 6. Lenz (7) 7. Huston (8) 8. Hunt (4) 9. Harms (9) 10. Phillips (1) DNS – Steward, Maeschen, Biertzer

Mock led throughout despite three stoppages. Phillips spun on lap one and three. Hunt spun on lap nine, and Harms on lap ten. Moughan held second, while Spitz was third most of the way. Wirth used the lap nine restart to slingshot around for the third and final transfer.

A main (started): 1. Herrera (2) 2. Hockett (7) 3. Brown (1) 4. Balog (8) 5. Meyer (4) 6. Reinke (5) 7. Jeffrey (14) 8. Anderson (10) 9. Neitzel (13) 10. Mock (15) 11. Hafemann (9) 12. Moughan (20) 13. Sutton (17) 14. S. Uttech (16) 15. Wirth (22) 16. McCarl (18) 17. D. Uttech (19) 18. Haeni (11) 19. Gharst (3) 20. Schneiderman (6) 21. Moore (12) 22. Parrish (21)

Herrera brushed the wall on the initial start sending sparks skyward and moving into the lead. Gharst spun in one and two, collecting Schneiderman, Moore, and McCarl. Only McCarl would continue. Herrera took the lead immediately in the 30-lapper and began putting distance between himself and Brown. Hockett ripped around Brown on the high side of turn two to take over second as Herrera entered lapped traffic on lap four. One lap later, Hockett got over the high side of turn two, sliding into a tire along the backstretch wall. He restarted at the rear, and began another charge. Herrera led Brown, Meyer, Reinke and Balog back to green flag racing. He opened up a wide margin, quickly putting lapped cars between himself and Brown. Meanwhile, many eyes were on Hockett who was moving back up through the field. The rest of the race went non-stop. Hockett made his way towards the front, slingshotting and sliding and took second back from Brown with two laps to go. Moughan earned hard-charger honors moving up from 20th to 12th,.

Heat two (started): 1. Dave Anderson 53 (2) 2. Bobby Mincer 14s (5) 3. Matt Krieger 27 (4) 4. Kevin Hetrick 23 (7) 5. Dave Saffell 3K (1) 6. Cale Hutchings 87 (6) 7. Jamie Lusher 18 (3)

Anderson led the distance and pulled away. Mincer made a nice charge and grabbed second on the last go-around.

A main (started): 1. Ditsworth (7) 2. Mincer (1) 3. Krieger (4) 4. Hetrick (9) 5. Schneiderman (3) 6. Anderson (5) 7. Newberry (6) 8. Draper (8) 9. Wilke (11) 10. Lusher (12) 11. Clark (13) 12. Saffell (2) 13. Hutchings (10) 14. Rose (14) DNS – Guernsey

Mincer took an early lead, but Ditsworth shot around him on lap two. The pass was negated, however, when Hutchings spun in turn two and collected Rose, who tipped over. Both were uninjured. Mincer led Ditsworth, Schneiderman, Saffell and Hetrick back to green flag racing. Ditsworth stayed on the leader's tail, as the race went non-stop the rest of the way. The last three laps were furious, with Ditsworth challenging on the high side of turn two, and twice making contact with the leader. Finally, on the last lap, Ditsworth made a slider work to take the lead and win. The move also gave him hard-charger honors.
