Donny Schatz (2nd car out to time) set quick time over the field with a time of 14.778 seconds. One lap of qualifying format was used. Jason Meyers (33rd car out) was second quick, followed by Danny Lasoski (25th), Steve Kinser (1st), Craig Dollansky (16th), Kerry Madsen (4th), Stevie Smith (23rd), Sam Hafertepe Jr. (9th), Daryn Pittman (34th) and Joey Saldana (47th). Brooke Tatnell flipped hard in hot laps after something broke and was done for the night. He was uninjured. Travis Cram also failed to get a time in and scratched for the night.

Pittman grabbed the early lead before Phillips flipped in turn four on lap two. He was uninjured. Pittman led Schatz, Wolfe, Brown, Dollansky and Jackson back to green flag racing. The lead pair dueled back and forth before Schatz took over the lead for good on lap six of the eight lapper, with the top two qualifying for the dash. Jackson and Brown raced past Dollansky on lap one, but he battled back nicely to third.

Saldana led from the beginning. Meyers quickly moved into second, looking strong on a cushion that was about 3/4 of the way up the track. Madsen battled early with Mitrisin after falling out of a transfer for a time. Garner departed on lap five. Lutar exited on lap seven after coming to a stop. On the restart, Saldana led Meyers, Shaffer, Sides and Madsen. Madsen picked off a car in each of the last two laps for third.

Haudenschild led the distance looking strong. The only stoppage came for a lap two Verville spin. McCarl surged as high as third, but was puking smoke most of the way. Things gave way for him on lap seven while running fourth.

Kemenah led flag to flag. Zomer looked like he had something for the leader, and registered 12th quick even after hopping the berm in turn two in time trials, but a plume of smoke appeared around lap three and he looked underpowered in holding onto third the rest of the way.
C main (started): 1. Wimmer (1) 2. Shilling (2) / 3. Peters (3) 4. Ry. Anderson (7) 5. Weuve (8) 6. Verville (6) 7. Moore (4) 8. Lutar (5) DNS - Gharst, Tatnell, Cram
Wimmer dominated the 8 lapper. Moore was in tow until lap six when he bowed out, handing the second transfer to the B to Shilling. Lutar stopped on the track and exited on lap five.

S. Kinser led the duration in the race determining the starting five rows in the A main. Haudenschild was impressive in challenging for the lead, and Dollansky improved his stock the most moving up four spots in the 6 lapper.

Jackson took the early lead before a lap three caution for Mitrisin who spun out of third and a transfer on lap three. Jackson led McCarl, Henderson, Alley and Garner back to green flag racing in the 12 lapper. McCarl challenged Jackson for the lead, but smoke emanated from the 24 again right before a caution for Heskin who broke a stop and came to a rest on lap eight. Despite the smoking racecar, McCarl got by Jackson with two to go for the win. Garner and Alley had their own battle going on for the final transfer and exchanged slidejobs. Alley took over the spot for good with two to go, and then slid into third past Henderson on the last go-around.

The initial start in the 25 lapper saw Brown crowded into the turn one wall and break his front axel and other parts, ending his night. The next try saw Shaffer get over the turn one cushion, and take a hard right into the wall. He took a hard ride, but was uninjured. It was clean and green from there on out. S. Kinser opened up a sizable lead. The track was good lending to three grooves in turns one and two (bottom, middle, top) and a top and bottom in three and four. S. Kinser utilized a middle groove that had developed to lap cars. Schatz succeeded at keeping pace with the legend and pulled up on him in lapped traffic. He made his winning move around the high side of turns three and four on lap 18, and seemed to be on cruise control from that point on. His teammate K. Kinser was the hard-charger, moving up 11 spots to 14th after taking a provisional. McCarl bowed out on lap three with persistent mechanical issues, and Landis and Henderson also exited early.

Mechanical ills sidelined Van Haaften while in staging. Kearney raced out to an early lead in the 7 lapper, but Higday got under him on lap two. The pair battled with Kearney high and Higday low. Kearney shot around to take the lead for good on lap five in a good race. Bakker took third from J. Hall with two to go.

Selvage led the distance. Pinegar II retired early, as did Thornburg and Leighty. Agan moved up and looked fast.

Vanderploeg led early in the stout heat. By lap five, Swenson had worked from last to fourth when Pace came to a stop. Vanderploeg led D. Hall, Roberts, Swenson and Sather at the time. Two laps later, Swenson was taking the lead and pulling away. Roberts moved by D. Hall with two to go for third, while 2007 top five finishers D. Hall and Moro were sent to the B.

Beaver catapulted to the lead by turn three on the first lap from outside row three and cruised to the win.

Leighty elected to start at the rear. D. Hall led throughout the 12 lapper. The top four finishers had moved into those positions by lap five when CJ Houseman abruptly stopped on teh frontstretch and exited. The lead pack separated themselves from the rest of the pack, with the best racing between Moro and Sather for third.

Kearney got into the wall on lap one and fell out of the 15 lapper. The event went non-stop, with Bakker maneuvering lapped traffic well. Agan won a mid-race battle with Higday for second and at one point pulled up on Bakker's bumper, but could not outlast him in traffic. Sather was the hard-charger, advancing 10 spots. J. Hall and Dobesh exited on lap 12.
