Kenny Jacobs (ninth car out to time) set quick time at 13.687. Lynch (15th car out) was second quick, followed by Saldana (4), Blaney (3), Stinson (5), Lasoski (7), Haudenschild (12), Wolfe (2), Mayes (11) and Dustin Daggett, who timed tenth. The track dried quickly and the turn two cushion went to the wall in a hurry. Many tempted the wall, but no one hit it until Chaney. Despite a hard hit, he stayed on all four. McMahan also tagged it with his right rear and had to bring the car in for repairs. Both took one lap at the end of qualifying, but late qualifiers were out of luck. Jacobs drew a five for the heat invert.

Heat 1 (8 laps) 1 Dollansky, 2 Meyers, 3 Haudenschild. DNQ 4 Kinser, 5 K.Jacobs, 6 B.Martin, 7 Blonde, 8 L.Jacobs, 9 Chaney

Dollansky led from flag to flag. There was not much action other than Haud outdueling Kinser early for the final transfer early. Heats took the top three to the A, the next three to the B, and the rest to the C. Heat winners made the dash. Heats saw mostly single-file racing with the only real groove being the cushion.

Heat 2 (8 laps) 1 Kemenah, 2 Wolfe, 3 Paulus. DNQ 4 Hillier, 5 Lynch, 6 Henderson, 7 Huntley, 8 Rose, 9 White

Kemenah led the duration. Wolfe used a strong start to shoot under Paulus early for an A transfer.

Heat 3 (8 laps) 1 Wimmer, 2 Saldana, 3 D.Jacobs. DNQ 4 May, 5 Bruce, 6 Sides, 7 Hafertepe, 8 Ruble, 9 Mayes

Wimmer led flag to flag after Jacobs was black-flagged on the initial start. Saldana passed Jacobs for second on lap four. Mayes exited on lap four.

Heat 4 (8 laps) 1 Madsen, 2 D.Smith, 3 Blaney. DNQ 4 Shaffer, 5 Daggett, 6 Stewart, 7 Hannagan, 8 Tatnell

Smith jumped out to an early advantage. Madsen trailed on his nerf bar and made a winning move with a lap eight slider. Blaney had a good start, shooting by Shaffer and grabbing third.

Heat 5 (8 laps) 1 Solwold, 2 McCarl, 3 McMahan. DNQ 4 J.Martin, 5 Myers, 6 Stinson, 7 Stark, 8 S.Smith

Solwold left the field on lap one, while a wild jumble bunched up McMahan who slowed in front of McCarl. Smith was caught off guard, making contact with McCarl and spinning. He exited thereafter. McCarl would track down McMahan on lap four and take second.

Heat 6 (8 laps) 1 Schatz, 2 Campbell, 3 Pittman. DNQ 4 Wilson, 5 Lasoski, 6 Ellenberger, 7 Hindi, 8 Carlson

Schatz led a mostly single-file event flag to flag.

C-main (10 laps) 1 Randy Hannagan, 2 Kevin Huntley, 3 Chad Blonde, 4 Lee Jacobs. DNQ 5 Sam Hafertepe Jr 15 $125, 6 Dion Hindi 11h $125, 7 Bill Rose 6 $125, 8 Rob Chaney 24h $125, 9 Brian Carlson 18c $125, 10 Brock Mayes 11b $125, 11 Barry Ruble 63 $125, 12 Bruce White 96 $125, 13 Lee Stark 16 $125. DNS Brooke Tatnell 2 $125, Stevie Smith 19 $125, Mark Aldrich 1a.

Huntley took off early. Hannagan started using the middle of the track to gain ground and slid under the leader coming for the white flag. L.Jacobs got by Hafertepe for the final transfer at the halfway point.

Crane Cams Dash (5 laps) Schatz, Solwold, Madsen, Kemenah, Wimmer, Dollansky

Schatz was blacked on the initial start and sent to row two, but returned to the pole when Madsen did the same thing. Schatz led flag to flag.

B-main (15 laps) 1 Steve Kinser, 2 Danny Lasoski, 3 Chad Hillier, 4 Greg Wilson. DNQ 5 Jason Martin 36 $500, 6 Shane Stewart 8h $450, 7 Paul May 71m $400, 8 Tony Bruce Jr 18 $350, 9 Jimmy Stinson 92 $300, 10 Chad Blonde 5 $250, 11 Dustin Daggett 2m $200, 12 Kevin Huntley 9x $200, 13 Jason Sides 7s $200, 14 Brian Ellenberger 20 $200, 15 Ryan Myers 56 $200, 16 Brandon Martin 11m $200, 17 Randy Hannagan 1x $200, 18 Lee Jacobs 75 $200, 19 Justin Henderson D1 $200, 20 Tim Shaffer 6 $200, 21 Kenny Jacobs 29 $200, 22 Ed Lynch Jr 2L $200.

Henderson smacked the wall before a lap was complete, and made repairs to restart. Shaffer had a bad start hopping Hillier's tire and losing several spots. With the top two qualifiers not making it through to the main event locked into the feature, K.Jacobs and Lynch went pitside early. Kinser led early, while Lasoski got a good jump on the start gaining seven spots. The only red of the night came out on lap 14 when B.Martin got upside down while running tenth. Kinser led Hillier, Lasoski, Wilson and May back to green flag racing. Lasoski sniped Hillier on the final four laps. Stewart had a great run, but still came up two spots short. J.Martin made a late bid on Wilson, who also closed on Hillier.

Lap Leaders) Dollansky 1-5, Schatz 6-40

Dollansky shot out to an early lead. The track was slick from top to bottom, but no rubber developed resulting in multiple lines for operating.

By lap six, Schatz had caught the leader and passed him. He pulled away leaving a good battle between second and sixth. Solwold followed Dollansky, ahead of Madsen, Meyers, McCarl and Saldana early. The six stayed in close contact until Madsen's left rear tire blew on lap 23.

At the time, Schatz's lead was over six seconds, as he led Dollansky, Solwold, Meyers, McCarl and Saldana back to green flag racing. Dollansky tagged the frontstretch wall shortly thereafter and would fade to seventh the final 17 laps. McCarl finished a good run in third. He used a lower line than most on both ends. Schatz's margin of victory was 7.8 seconds ahead of Meyers.
