Brian Brown (2nd car out to time) set the standard in time trials on the heavy surface.  Matt Moro (4th car out) was second quick, followed by Randy Anderson (22nd), Ricky Logan (28th), Billy Alley (11th), Clint Garner (18th), Calvin Landis (27th), Lynton Jeffrey (12th), Mark Dobmeier (10th) and Brent Antill (1st).  Skip Jackson was given an additional lap when a car was late to exit the speedway.  The trouble was, if his first lap would have counted, it would have been good enough for quick time.  But in the end, it was all for naught as Skip was light at the scales and DQed.  He was forced to start all events from the rear.

Heat one (started): 1. Kaley Gharst 44G (1) 2. Jesse Giannetto D1 (2) 3. Brown 21 (6) 4. Landis 70 (4) 5. Logan 55 (5) 6. Antill 1 (3) / 7. Ryan Anderson 71R (7) 8. Mike Moore 69 (8) 9. Greg Jones 3J (9) 10. Robert Bell 71 (10)

Gharst led throughout in the 8 lapper, but Giannetto never left his nerf bar.  Brown was also not far behind, moving up nicely to third in an entertaining heat race.

Heat two (started): 1. Dusty Zomer 1z (2) 2. Jeffrey 12 (4) 3. Rager Phillips 10 (1) 4. Jerrel Slinkard 15s (3) 5. Alley 17G (5) 6. Moro 47 (6) / 7. Skip Jackson (10) 8. Tony Shilling 47T (8) 9. Chris Walraven 56 (7) 10. Dean Summers 5m (9)

Zomer led the distance and won going away in impressive fashion.  Jackson's bid for a transfer from the tail fell one spot short.  Summers is the first native of the Northern Territories (Aust.) to compete at Knoxville.  All other territories have been represented.

Heat three (started): 1. Trevor Green 11AU (1) 2. Bronson Maeschen 96 (2) 3. Tim St. Arnold 7w (3) 4. Garner 40 (5) 5. Dobmeier 1L (4) 6. Ra. Anderson 81 (6) / 7. Jesse Hockett 75 (7) 8. Tyler Houseman 50 (8) 9. Dave Saffell 03 (9)

Green led flag to flag.  The best battle was for the final transfer.  Hockett grabbed it early, but Ra. Anderson took it back with three to go.

B main (started): 1. Ry. Anderson (1) 2. Hockett (3) / 3. Jackson (11) 4. Moore (4) 5. Shilling (5) 6. Jones (7) 7. Houseman (6) 8. Bell (10) 9. Walraven (2) 10. Saffell (9) 11. Summers (8)

Walraven led the first two laps before Summers spun and exited on lap two.  Walraven led Ry. Anderson, Moore, Hockett and Shilling back to green flag racing.  Ry. Anderson quickly took control with Hockett, who got by Moore and Walraven, in tow.  Jackson restarted in sixth and charged to third by the end of the 10 lapper, one spot out of a transfer.  Walraven and Saffell both exited on lap five.

A main (started): 1. Garner (1) 2. Alley (2) 3. Brown (6) 4. Ra. Anderson (4) 5. Jeffrey (8) 6. Logan (3) 7. Dobmeier (9) 8. Hockett (20) 9. Zomer (14) 10. St. Arnold (12) 11. Phillips (17) 12. Landis (7) 13. Moro (5) 14. Ry. Anderson (19) 15. Maeschen (15) 16. Slinkard (11) 17. Antill (10) 18. Giannetto (13) 19. Gharst (16) 20. Green (18)

Garner shot out to an early lead in the 20 lapper, shooting around on the cushion, which was 3/4 of the way up the track.  Alley was in pursuit, mostly utilizing the low groove on the speedway.  Brown quickly put himself in third, and the three leaders separated themselves from the pack.  Garner was in lapped traffic on lap ten when Green lost a right rear and tipped over in turn four.  He was uninjured, but done.  Garner led Alley, Brown, Ra. Anderson, Logan and Jeffrey back to green.  Alley made several moves on the low side, pulling even with the leader on a few occasions.  As the pair entered lapped traffic again on lap 17, Gharst came to a stop high in turn four.  His problems were terminal.  Once again, Garner led Alley, Brown, Ra. Anderson and Jeffrey back to green.  Despite the lack of position change at the front, the battle was intense.  Garner did what he had to do, coming off low in turns three and four and hitting the cushion in one and two to take his first 410 feature win at Knoxville.  Garner's win and Jackson's misfortune, put Garner into a slim lead in the battle for third.  Brown made a longshot slidejob attempt on Alley with two to go, but settled for third.  Alley leads Brown by a mere 30 points heading into next week's Season Championship.  A Brown pass of Alley would have put him 10 points ahead of Billy.  It's going to go down to the wire.  Ra. Anderson finished off a steady run in fourth.  Antill was running seventh on the final circuit when he spun to a stop on the backstretch.  Hockett captured hard-charger honors and an additional $300 by moving up 12 spots.

Crall led the 7 lapper flag to flag despite a broken front wing bracket.  Ball and Dobesh had a nice battle for fourth going, while Johnny Anderson hunted down Van Haaften, passing him on the final corner for second.

Heat two (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Jake Peters 57x (1*) 2. Dustin Lindquist 55L (3*) 3. Josh Higday 24 (5*) 4. Stacey Alexander 00 (2*) 5. Rick Ideus 5B (7) 6. John Schulz 2 (4) 7. Mitchell Alexander 6 (6) 8. John Anderson 4G (8)

Swenson led the duration.  Mitrisin made the run of the night in the heat races in a car that was pieced together in the afternoon.  A shop fire burnt his primary mount to the ground.

Heat four (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Brett Mather 54 (1*) 2. Josh Schneiderman 49 (2*) 3. Eric Mason B29 (4*) 4. Chad Meinholdt 69m (8*) 5. Joe Beaver 53 (7) 6. Dustin Selvage 7 (5) 7. Alan Zoutte 33 (6) 8. Danny Heskin 65 (3)

Mather led flag to flag.  Meinholdt was the mover and shaker in this one, moving up four spots to earn some passing points and a spot in the A.  Danny Heskin exited on lap six.

B main (started): 1. Ideus (1) 2. Heimbaugh (2) 3. Beaver (3) 4. Hall (10) / 5. Dobesh (5) 6. Selvage (8) 7. Schulz (6) 8. Moro (16) 9. M. Alexander (11) 10. Zoutte (12) 11. John Anderson (14) 12. Lenz (4) 13. Davey Heskin (7) 14. Houseman Jr. (9) 15. Thompson (15) 16. Corbin (13) DNS - Danny Heskin

Ideus shot out to an early lead in the 10 lapper with Heimbaugh and Beaver battling behind him.  On lap 7, Corbin spun at the back pit entrance bringing caution.  The restart saw Ideus ahead of Heimbaugh, Beaver, Lenz and Hall, from row five.  Hall passed Lenz for the final transfer when the green fell.  Entering turn three, Lenz looked to lose a wheel and flipped violently, being struck by Houseman Jr.  Davey Heskin got into the wall trying to avoid the incident, tore off his left front wheel and began a wicked set of flips.  He was hit in mid-air by Thompson.  Amazingly, noone was reported injured, though Houseman Jr. took a trip to the hospital.  The top four remained the same after the restart.

A main (started): 1. Peters (2) 2. Johnny Anderson (3) 3. Mitrisin (6) 4. Lindquist (7) 5. Mather (1) 6. Higday (8) 7. Swenson (4) 8. Kearney (15) 9. Schneiderman (9) 10. Mason (11) 11. Beaver (19) 12. Crall (5) 13. Hall (20) 14. Ball (13) 15. Ideus (17) 16. Van Haaften (12) 17. S. Alexander (16) 18. Heimbaugh (18) 19. Golik (14) 20. Meinholdt (10)

Peters wrapped up his third consecutive 360 title by dominating the 15 lapper.  Meinholdt came to a stop when the green flag fell and retired on lap six.  The event went non-stop.  Johnny Anderson trailed the distance, but couldn't gain on the leader.  Mitrisin moved up nicely, first battling by Swenson and then Mather.  Lindquist also battled Swenson and Mather, and assured himself of being the highest finishing rookie in the standings.  Kearney moved up nicely, and Beaver grabbed hard-charger honors finishing 8 spots forward from his tenth row starting spot.
