8 laps heats took the top two to the redraw, and the top five to the feature.  Broughton spun before a lap could be completed.  Keegan led Henry, who tagged D. Jacobs and Bacon early.  While Keegan pulled away, Bacon and Peck exchanged the third spot at least five times.  Peck eventually prevailed.  Duncan had dropped from the pole to sixth, but got by D. Jacobs for the final transfer on the last lap in an action packed heat.

Heat two (started): 1. Travis Philo 5T (2) 2. Tim Shaffer 49x (3) 3. Chris Andrews 16 (4) 4. Dan McCarron 22m (6) 5. Duane Zablocki 9z (7) / 6. Shawn Valenti 7 (1) 7. Brandon Hanks 84 (5) DNS – Brandon Moore 1m

Philo led the distance.  McCarron was second dearly ahead of Shaffer, but Shaffer would charge into the runner-up spot on lap two.  Andrews secured third from McCarron at the halfway point.

Heat three (started): 1. Brian Lay 45 (2) 2. Tyler Gunn 68G (1) 3. Dale Blaney 17 (3) 4. Joey Saldana 71 (7) 5. Stuart Brubaker 9x (6) / 6. Macedo 70 (4) 7. Cale Conley 7K (5) 8. Cody Gallogly 27 (8)

Lay led Gunn and Macedo early.  On the second lap, Macedo slid into second, while Saldana secured fifth and a transfer spot.  With two to go, Macedo faded, slowing to sixth at the checkers.  Brubaker just edged him at the line.  Blaney was in the Josh Baughman Racing #17.  Josh had failed to find a flight out of Texas due to Hurricane Harvey.

Heat four (started): 1. Rob Chaney 83 (2) 2. Broc Martin 97 (1) 3. Mintz 11N (4) 4. Andrew Palker 57x (3) 5. Byron Reed 5 (6) / 6. DJ Foos 23 (5) 7. Lee Jacobs 81 (7) 8. Steve Butler 4B (8)

Chaney led wire to wire.  The best battle was for the final transfer.  L. Jacobs grabbed it from Reed on lap two, but Reed battled back to regain it two laps later.

B main (started): 1. Foos (4) 2. Macedo (3) 3. D. Jacobs (1) 4. Valenti (2) / 5. L. Jacobs (8) 6. Taylor (5) 7. Conley (7) 8. Broughton (9) 9. Gallogly (11) 10. Moore (10) 11. Butler (12) 12. Hanks (6)

D. Jacobs led Foos, Macedo and Valenti early in the 10-lapper.  Valenti worked by Macedo on lap two for third.  A caution for a tractor tire on the track came three laps in.  D. Jacobs led Foos, Valenti, Macedo, Taylor and L. Jacobs back to green.  Foos dove into the lead with an aggressive slider, and Macedo retook third at that point.  Macedo would carry his momentum into second.  Hanks drove off the track in turn four and retired early.

A main (started): 1. Shaffer (6) 2. Martin (7) 3. Reed (14) 4. Saldana (15) 5. Palker (5) 6. Bacon (13) 7. Mintz (2) 8. Duncan (18) 9. Zablocki (17) 10. Foos (19) 11. McCarron (16) 12. Macedo (20) 13. Andrews (12) 14. Henry (4) 15. Blaney (11) 16. Keegan (10) 17. Gunn (8) 18. Lay (1) 19. Chaney (3) 20. D. Jacobs (21) 21. Philo (23) 22. Valenti (22) 23. Peck (9) DNS – Brubaker

Philo went to the work area and had to start at the tail.  Brubaker did the same, but had to scratch.  Mintz jumped out to an early lead in the 30-lapper over Henry and Lay.  Peck came to a rest and retired with a lap in the books.  Henry dove under Mintz to take the point, and Lay followed him into second on lap three.  Lay continued his momentum, taking the lead on lap four, right before Mintz suffered a right rear flat that was replaced in the work area.  Lay now led Henry, Shaffer, Chaney and Palker back to green.  Meanwhile, Reed was up to eighth from 13th, and Saldana was 10th from 15th.  Macedo made contact with the turn four wall on lap nine, bringing another caution.  Philo’s night would end beyond turn three, bringing another caution on lap 14.  Lay was still in command over Henry, Shaffer, Palker and Chaney.  War was being waged between Saldana and Reed back in 8th and 9th.  Soon Bacon would join them in a three-way battle.  Shaffer would overtake Henry for second on lap 22, before Gunn lost a top ten run with a lap 22 spin.  Chaney would take third, but went up in smoke with five to go.  Lay led yet another restart over Shaffer, Martin, Henry and Reed.  Lay would run out of fuel, handing the lead and $5,000 to Shaffer.  A check with the crew later revealed that Lay had 25 gallons of fuel to start the feature.  Reed and Saldana both moved up 11 spots.
