The feature was rained out before the green could fall in June during Ohio Speedweek.  The 35-lapper saw Philo leading Conley, Thomas, Shaffer and Kemenah early.  The leaders were in lapped traffic by lap six.  On the tenth circuit, Shaffer passed Thomas for third, and then moved by Conley into second on the next lap.  Duncan and Kemenah traded fifth at that point, with Kemenah eventually grabbing the spot back and moving by Thomas for fourth on lap 19.  Four laps later, he was behind Philo and Shaffer in third with a pass of Conley.  Mintz had motor issues and stopped to bring the only caution of the event with 29 laps down.  Philo led Shaffer, Kemanh, Conley and Thomas back to green.  A three-wide battle for the lead ensued after the restart.  Kemenah would edge by Shaffer for second, but on lap 31, Shaffer shot from third to the lead.  Kemenah followed Shaffer into second on lap 32.  On the final lap, disaster struck for Philo, who blew a right rear.  Thomas did the same coming out of turn four.  He would play Ricky Bobby though, running to the finish line.  Shaffer would cash in the $5,000 win, plus a $3,000 bonus for his third win during Speedweek.  It was his 60th career All Star win, and his 15th at Attica (his second in a row after Friday’s win).  Cody Jacobs spun the winning wrenches.  Shaffer stated that motor was done for, and they’d have to change for the rest of the program.  Macedo was the hard-charger.
Chris AndrewsChris Andrews The Dirt Classic format was used for Saturday’s full program.  Points were accumulated in time trials and through two sets of heats.  The first set of heats was lined heads-up by time, while the second set had an invert of eight, meaning quick-timers started in row four.  Byron Reed and TJ Michael were both penalized in hot laps for not getting on the gas soon enough.  They were relegated to one lap of qualifying at the end of the 49-car field.

DJ Foos (37th car out to time) set quick time at 12.315 seconds.  Jordan Mackison (23rd car out) was second quick), followed by Max Stambaugh (48th), Cole Duncan (40th), Joey Saldana (29th), Travis Philo (9th), Rob C0) haney (24th), Carson Macedo (41st), Sammy Swindell (35th) and Cap Henry (43rd).  The damp conditions led to the track coming in as time trials developed.  Gary Taylor jumped the cushion and went over the berm in hot laps, actually breaking his frame.  He was done for the night.  Brandon Spithaler had issues with the motor in hot laps, but returned to qualify.
