(Bill W) October 9, 2017 – Just ten points separate Kerry and Ian Madsen in the Midwest Thunder Sprints presented by www.OpenWheel101.com as the series heads into its final four races.  Recent winners with the series have included Bill Balog and Dusty Zomer with the IRA, Brooke Tatnell at the Bill Waite Jr. Memorial in LaSalle, Illinois, Hunter Schuerenberg at the Queen’s Royale in Farmington, Missouri and Carson Macedo with the IRA and MOWA in Fairbury, Illinois.

The MOWA series will be back in action for a two-night event this weekend at Jacksonville Speedway in Illinois, while the last two events on the schedule will be World of Outlaws showdowns at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas on October 20 and Salina Highbanks Speedway in Oklahoma on Saturday, October 21.

The Midwest Thunder schedule has seen 28 different winners in the 57 events contested.  The top ten (excluding Platinum WoO drivers) in the standings see Kerry Madsen leading over Ian Madsen, Brian Brown, Brooke Tatnell, Terry McCarl, Tim Kaeding, Mark Dobmeier, Austin McCarl, Bill Balog and Brad Loyet.
