Geldner took the point while Vonk stumbled to the back.  Boles picked his way forward and dueled with Lund for fourth for several laps before taking the spot with two to go.  Humston in the Swenson machine, made a last lap pass of Lund as well.

Heat three (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Jake Peters 57x (2*) 2. Joe Beaver 53 (1*) 3. Jesse Drost 27 (4*) 4. Luke Cranston 20 (6) 5. Jason Danley 82 (9) 6. Ryan Voss 2H (7) 7. Ryan Bickett 17B (8) 8. Sam Hafertepe Jr. 15 (5) 9. Bobby Becker 8B (3)

Peters led the mostly single-file event flag to flag.  Becker hit the turn four wall and flipped down the backstretch.  He was uninjured.  Danley made a late race bid for fourth on Cranston, who had a crumpled front wing, but he came up short.  Hafertepe was running fourth, but dropped out during the Becker stoppage.

Heat four (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Jeff Mitrisin 10 (2*) 2. Jason Johnson 41 (5*) 3. Brian Brown 21 (8*) 4. Dustin Lindquist 55L (4) 5. Chuck Swenson X (3) 6. Jason Linnell K9 (6) 7. Ryan Anderson 71R (9) 8. Jack Dover 53x (7) 9. Mark Schmidt 9J (1)

Mitrisin led the distance.  Johnson and Brown were masterful in working over talented young Lindquist to earn transfers to the feature.

B main one (started): 1. Nygaard (2) 2. Cranston (1) 3. Humston (3) / 4. Lund (5) 5. Cressman (7) 6. Droud (8) 7. Voss (4) 8. Anderson (6) 9. Vonk (9) DNS – Schmidt

Nygaard took the point early and held on to it throughout the 10 lapper despite losing his nosewing with four laps to go.  Humston and Lund battled throughout the race for the final transfer, with Humston taking the spot with two to go.

B main two (started): 1. Danley (1) 2. Lindquist (2) 3. Swenson (3) / 4. Bakker (7) 5. Linnell (5) 6. Dover (9) 7. Miller (4) 8. Bickett (8) 9. Bruce (6) DNS – Brahmer, Becker

Danley led flag to flag. Bakker started deep and made up ground quickly. It looked like he had something for Swenson late, but he needed more laps or a caution.  Bruce exited on turn four, Bickett did the same on lap eight.

A main (started): 1. Brown (5) 2. Peters (2) 3. Mitrisin (3) 4. Corbin (11) 5. Lutz (8) 6. Geldner (1) 7. Drost (13) 8. Hockett (12) 9. Boles (9) 10. Swenson (20) 11. Grosz (6) 12. Nygaard (15) 13. Chapman (14) 14. Cranston (17) 15. Beaver (10) 16. Danley (16) 17. Chadd (7) 18. Lindquist (18) 19. Johnson (4) 20. Humston (19)

Peters jumped out to a nice lead to begin the 25 lapper.  Johnson followed him by getting by Geldner for second on the second go-around.  On lap four, Humston got over the right rear of Danley and flipped the Swenson machine through the turn three fence.  He was taken in for observation.  After a lengthy delay, Peters led the field back to green over Johnson, Geldner, Brown, Mitrisin and a surging Hockett.  Two laps later, the second place car of Johnson came to a rest with front end problems in turn three.  Brown had moved by Geldner, and assumed second over Mitrisin and Hockett.  One lap later, Hockett, who was running well, lost his front wing and finished without it.  On lap nine, the final slowdown came when Lindquist came to a stop.  Now Peters led Brown, Mitrisin, Geldner, Hockett and Beaver.  Peters jumped out to a nice lead the next eight laps, but Brown was persistent as the pair entered lapped traffic.  Brown got under Peters for a lap 19 lead, but Peters slid the 57x in front of Brown in turn one on the next circuit.  Brown tried the same move in turns three and four as Mitrisin entered the fray, and made it stick for the winning pass.  The track remained tacky despite heavy winds and hot, humid conditions throughout the day.  Corbin was impressive moving up to fourth from row six, and Swenson was the hard-charger, moving up ten spots.
