Calvin Landis (5th car out to time) set the standard in time trials with a lap of 15.293 seconds. Dusty Zomer (4th car out) was second quick, followed by Bronson Maeschen (6th), Skip Jackson (3rd), Wayne Johnson (18th), Billy Alley (29th), Brian Brown (10th), Chris Walraven (23rd), Lynton Jeffrey (16th) and Chad Meyer (14th). Mark Dobmeier failed to get a time in and appeared to have rear end troubles.
Heat one (started): 1. Rager Phillips 9 (2) 2. Brown 21 (4) 3. Jackson 2 (5) 4. Gordy Vogelaar 1a (1) 5. Landis 70 (6) 6. Trevor Green 11AU (7) / 7. Meyer 1w (3) 8. Mike Moore 69 (8) 9. Tony Shilling 47T (9) 10. Greg Jones 3J (10)
Phillips led flag to flag with Brown in tow. Vogelaar, Landis, Meyer and Green battled in close proximity for the final transfer on the widening surface. Meyer was the odd man out as Green made a last lap pass for the final transfer.
Heat two (started): 1. Larry Ball Jr. 5J (1) 2. Clint Garner 40 (2) 3. Kaley Gharst 44G (7) 4. Walraven 56 (4) 5. Zomer 1z (6) 6. Johnson 10 (5) / 7. Matt Moro 47 (3) 8. Chris Shirek 1 (8) 9. Dave Saffell 03 (9) DNS - Mark Dobmeier 13
Ball led the duration, looking strong a week after blowing a motor. This week's version was the same plant used by Alley during the 2005 Nationals. Gharst took advantage of a bad start by Moro and Johnson to slide into fifth. He then worked by Zomer and Walraven on the final lap to grab third. Saffell exited on lap five.
Heat three (started): 1. Tim St. Arnold 7w (1) 2. Kerry Madsen 55 (2) 3. Alley 17G (5) 4. Jeffrey 12 (4) 5. Jesse Giannetto D1 (8) 6. Maeschen 96 (6) / 7. Ryan Anderson 71R (7) 8. Randy Anderson 81 (3) 9. Tyler Houseman (9)
St. Arnold led flag to flag in amostly single-file affair. Maeschen dropped out of a transfer at one point, but worked back by Ra. Anderson to lock himself in the main event.
B main (started): 1. Meyer (1) 2. Moro (2) / 3. Ry. Anderson (4) 4. Moore (5) 5. Shirek (6) 6. Ra. Anderson (3) 7. Shilling (7) 8. Jones (8) 9. Houseman (9) DNS - Saffell, Dobmeier

Brown got the jump on Walraven for the early lead in the 20 lapper. Johnson and Jackson worked on Walraven to get behind Brown before a lap 10 Moro flip. He was uninjured. The trio led Alley, Jeffrey and Walraven back to green flag racing. Alley shot by Jackson into third before spinning a lap later, collecting a helpless Jeffrey, and ending the night for both. Johnson tried a slider on Brown on the restart in one and two, but Brown dove right back under Johnson and never looked back, winning by more than three seconds for his fourth career 410 win. Jackson worked under Johnson late in the race, while Zomer finished a strong fourth for the best rookie showing of the season. Garner and Madsen dueled throughout the event and charged into the top five from row six. Giannetto was the hard-charger, moving up nine spots.
360s
Heat one (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Dustin Selvage 7 (1*) 2. Brett Mather 54 (2*) 3. Mike Houseman Jr. Y5 (5*) 4. Troy Meyer 11m (3*) 5. Jon Corbin 15 (6) 6. Tom Lenz 8L (8) 7. Tyler Thompson 2T (9) 8. Jake Peters 57x (4) 9. Josh Schneiderman 49 (7)
Selvage led flag to flag with Mather in tow, despite two stoppages. On lap three, Peters came to a stop and exited with fuel linkage problems. On lap six, Thompson flipped in turn four, but was uninjured. Schneiderman exited soon after the green fell. He was in a Steve Wares car after hurting his own ride Friday night when his throttle stuck racing at Donnellson. The best racing was for third, with Houseman Jr. getting the best of Meyer.
Heat two (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Stacey Alexander 2Tx (3*) 2. Mitchell Alexander 6 (1*) 3. Nate Mosher 22N (4*) 4. Joe Beaver 53 (6*) 5. Josh Higday 24 (7*) 6. Eric Mason B29 (9) 7. John Schulz 2 (8) 8. John Anderson 4G (2) 9. Nate Van Haaften 3 (5)
S. Alexander showed his strength by powering under the front row to lead lap one and win going away. M. Alexander held off a pesky Mosher and Beaver despite a collapsed top wing side panel. Beaver and Higday's moves forward were just enough to qualify for the A.
Heat three (started, *qualified for feature): 1. John Kearney 83 (2*) 2. Dustin Lindquist 55L (6*) 3. Dave Hall 51 (1*) 4. Stevie Walsh 00 (3) 5. Rick Ideus 5B (5) 6. Jeff Mitrisin 10 (7) 7. Brett Golik 5G (9) 8. Davey Heskin 56 (8) DNS - Danny Heskin 65 (4)
Danny Heskin flipped in hot laps ending his night. Davey Heskin took a few slow laps and pulled in. Kearney led the distance. Lindquist continues to get better every time out and moved up well from row three.
Heat four (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Frankie Heimbaugh 04 (1*) 2. Johnny Anderson 7a (3*) 3. Alan Zoutte 33 (2*) 4. Pete Crall 11 (5*) 5. Jerry Crabb 12x (4) 6. David Langford 32L (7) 7. Tim Newman 18 (8) 8. Terry Alexander 77 (6)
Heimbaugh shot out to lead all seven laps. Zoutte held of Anderson for a couple of laps before he got by, and then held off Crall for third. All four made the main event. T. Alexander exited on lap five.
B main (started): 1. Corbin (2) 2. Peters (10) 3. Mitrisin (6) 4. Lenz (4) / 5. Mason (3) 6. Schulz (8) 7. Ideus (5) 8. T. Alexander (15) 9. Langford (7) 10. Newman (11) 11. Anderson 4G (13) 12. Van Haaften (16) 13. Golik (9) 14. Crabb (14) 15. Walsh (1) 16. Schneiderman (12) DNS - Thompson, Davey Heskin, Danny Heskin
Corbin shot out to a lead he would not relinquish in a new ride. Peters sliced through from row five to gain a transfer. Mitrisin, who gained third on the last go-around and Lenz bested Mason, who had a rough start, for the final transfers. Schneiderman bowed out on lap one, Walsh and Crabb on lap three and Golik on lap five.
A main (started): 1. Lindquist (5) 2. Anderson 7a (3) 3. S. Alexander (8) 4. Mather (2) 5. Peters (18) 6. Corbin (17) 7. Mitrisin (19) 8. Heimbaugh (4) 9. Meyer (15) 10. Hall (12) 11. Houseman Jr. (1) 12. Selvage (6) 13. Mosher (10) 14. Beaver (11) 15. Zoutte (13) 16. Crall (14) 17. Kearney (7) 18. Lenz (20) 19. M. Alexander (9) 20. Higday (16)
Higday had moved up about five spots before turn one when the green fell. Unfortunately, he carried a ton of speed over the cushion and hit the wall, helicoptered about six times and got upside down. He was uninjured, but destroyed the car. Mather shot out to an early lead in the 15 lapper. On lap five, Beaver contacted the turn four wall and came to a stop. He would restart at the tail. Mather led Anderson 7a, Kearney, Lindquist and Houseman Jr. back to green. On lap eight, Anderson 7a used the low side to cruise by for the lead. Two laps later, Lenz spun, bringing out another caution. Now Anderson 7a led Lindquist, Mather, Kearney, a surging S. Alexander and Corbin out of the B. Two more laps were in the books when Kearney got over the right rear of Mather and ended up with a flat right front. He would be able to make repairs and restart at the tail. Anderson led Lindquist, Mather, S. Alexander and Corbin back to the green. With two laps to go, Lindquist managed to slingshot around Anderson in turn four and led the final lap for his first career Knoxville win. Impressive runs were turned in by hard-charger Peters, Corbin and Mitrisin. They all started at the rear after running the B. S. Alexander passed Mather on the final lap to gain a podium finish.
