(Bill W) May 28, 2018, Monroe, IA – Four point eligible events are on the docket this week for the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars Presented by Open Wheel 101!  On Wednesday, the World of Outlaws make their first ever appearance at the Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Illinois.  Illinois Sprintweek is in full swing for MOWA as well, as they will hit Macon Speedway on Thursday and Lincoln Speedway Friday.  Saturday, Knoxville Raceway will be back in action.

Austin McCarl and Brian Brown have owned Knoxville Raceway thus far.  Last Saturday night, Austin equaled Brown by winning his third feature of the year at “The Sprint Car Capital of the World.”  Paul Nienhiser grabbed his first win of the season in the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars Sunday night at Jacksonville Speedway in an Illinois Sprintweek MOWA stop.

McCarl’s victory saw him leap frog Brown in the standings.  The rest of the top ten includes Brooke Tatnell, Davey Heskin, Justin Henderson, Kerry Madsen, Matt Juhl, Terry McCarl, Josh Schneiderman and Cory Eliason.

So far, there have been six winners in the ten races contested with the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars presented by Open Wheel 101!
