Kevin Thomas Jr. (3rd car out to time) set a new track record at 16.423 seconds on the 4/10-mile oval, breaking the year old mark of Stevie Sussex (16.808). Justin Grant (8th car out) was also under the old mark and second quick, followed by CJ Leary (10th), Chad Boespflug (9th), Brady Bacon (17th), Chase Stockon (13th), Chris Windom (16th), Dave Darland (6th), Nick Bilbee (18th) and Robert Ballou (4th). Mike Dapra failed to get a time in and scratched for the night.

Droud led the 8-lapper early over Ballou and Windom. Windom would get by Ballou on lap three for second. Two laps later, he would take the lead from Droud. Ballou followed him into second as Droud began fading. Thomas would grab third with two to go, and Boespflug and Chapple would get by for the last two feature transfers late.

Plenty of action in this one. Roa led Kitchen and Bacon early. On lap two, Kitchen would pass Roa with his 360 power plant to take the lead, while Andretti took third from Bacon. Andretti would move into second on lap three, while Darland surged from fourth to second on lap five. Darland would grab the lead and pull away on lap five. Andretti would follow him into second with two to go. Bacon would grab third coming to the white flag, while Roa would get back by Kitchen for the last transfer late.
Heat three (started): 1. Tyler Courtney 7BC (3) 2. Stockon 32 (5) 3. Bilbee 17 (4) 4. Leary 30 (6) 5. Tom Harris 5E (2) / 6. Wyatt Burks 11w (1) 7. Terry Richards 18T (7) 8. Robert Bell 71 (8)
Courtney would surge from row two to the lead immediately and win going away. Behind him, Stockon would go from fourth to second on lap four, and Bilbee would grab third from Harris on lap seven.
B main (started): 1. Droud (1) 2. Ledger (4) 3. Kitchen (2) 4. Burks (3) 5. Artz (7) 6. Richards (6) 7. Stevenson (5) / 8. Saville (8) 9. Bell (9) DNS – Dapra
The 12-lapper took the top seven to the feature. Droud led wire to wire. Kitchen got by Burks for second on lap four, but it was Ledger, in his first night in a non-wing sprint, that was on the move. He passed Burks on lap six for third, and then got Kitchen for second with three to go.
