(Bill W) June 11, 2018, Monroe, IA – Brian Brown had a strong Jackson Nationals at the Jackson Motorplex in Minnesota last weekend, and built his lead a bit in the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars presented by www.OpenWheel101.com!  The World of Outlaws invaded the Midwest last weekend.  Sheldon Haudenschild picked up the rain date win Tuesday at the Fairbury (IL) American Legion Speedway.  Rain postponed things in Jackson Thursday, but Jason Johnson picked up both preliminary wins there (Friday and Saturday afternoon).  Donny Schatz took home $40,000 for the win in the finale.

Three point eligible races will be contested this weekend.  On Friday, the WoO heads to River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota.  Weekly racing will be back in action at the Knoxville Raceway in Iowa Saturday.  On Sunday, the IRA will gather at the beautiful Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

Brown now holds a 76-point lead over Austin McCarl in the point standings.  Brooke Tatnell is third, ahead of Kerry Madsen, Davey Heskin and Jacob Patten (tie), Justin Henderson, Terry McCarl, Matt Juhl and Cory Eliason.

So far, there have been nine winners in the fourteen races contested with the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars presented by Open Wheel 101!
