David Gravel (7th car out to time) set quick time at 9.999 seconds over the 34, car field on the 3/16, mile bullring, just shy of Sheldon Haudenschild’s 2021 track record 9.990 seconds. Joey Myers Jr. (8th car out) was second quick, followed by Carson Macedo (18th), Spencer Bayston (28th), Cole Macedo (12th), Bryce Norris (17th), Buddy Kofoid (14th), Will Armitage (33rd), Donny Schatz (10th) and Joe B. Miller (3rd).

10-lap heats took the top five to the feature, and the top two to the Dash. Co. Macedo led the distance. Daum won a great battle with Axsom for the final transfer, taking the spot at the halfway point after starting eighth.

Heat two (started): 1. 19, Joel Myers Jr (1); 2. 51B, Joe B Miller (3); 3. 1S, Logan Schuchart (6); 4. 37, Bryce Norris (2); 5. 23, Garet Williamson (4) / 6. 22, Riley Goodno (9); 7. 3, Ayrton Gennetten (8); 8. 16C, Skylar Gee (5); 9. 71M, Paul May (7)

Contact between Miller and Williamson resulted in the latter spinning with minor damage repaired in the work area. Gee also replaced a flat right rear. Once green, Myers took the lead over Norris, Miller, Schuchart and May. Miller snagged second from Norris on lap two. Williamson worked his way back up from the tail and as he was passing May for the final transfer, made contact with May’s right front tire as he was drifting up turn four on lap five. May retired after slowing. Schuchart gained third from Norris on the restart. Goodno and Williamson went back and forth for the final transfer in the late stages, with Williamson hanging on.

Ca. Macedo led Kofoid, Moran, Nienhiser from 7th and Lynch on lap one. On lap four, Nienhiser lost a spot after drifting over the cushion and slowing. He regained the spot with two to go. Ca. Macedo and Kofoid put a straightaway between them and the field.

Bayston led the distance. Windom grabbed the final transfer from Torgerson on lap two. Jedrzejek and
Armitage had a really good race for second before Armitage took it for good on lap four. Balog was a late charger, taking third on the white flag lap.

The 8-lapper set the first four rows of the feature. The best race was for third, with Ca. Macedo falling just short.

B main (started): 1. 16C, Skylar Gee (2); 2. 27, Emerson Axsom (3); 3. 51, Ashton Torgerson (6); 4. 22, Riley Goodno (4) / 5. 85J, Logan Julien (5); 6. 47, Korey Weyant (10); 7. 3N, Jake Neuman (7); 8. 2MD, Darin Naida (9); 9. 3, Ayrton Gennetten (8); 10. 31, Joey Moughan (12); 11. 28M, Conner Morrell (11); 12. 71M, Paul May (14); 13. 96, Jake Blackhurst (1); 14. 9, Tyler Duff (13)

The 12-lapper took the top four to the A main. Gee was out front for the distance. Early, he was trailed by Blackhurst, Axsom and Goodno. Torgerson climbed to fourth on lap two, getting by Goodno. Then both got by Blackhurst to take third and fourth. Axsom would get back to second and by Torgerson with two to go. Duff and Blackhurst exited early.

The 40-lapper saw Bayston leading Co Macedo, Ca Macedo and Kofoid early. One lap in, Norris hooked the turn one berm and flipped. He was ok. Schuchart, who was in the top ten went to the work area to fix a flat. Co Macedo passed his brother for second on the restart, and then shot around Bayston to lead lap three. He was in lapped traffic by the ninth circuit. Haudenschild entered the top five on lap 12. Bayston battled back in heavy traffic on lap 14, and retook the lead. Haudenschild and Armitage moved into fourth and fifth, getting by Kofoid on lap 15. Bayston hit the turn three wall and slowed on lap 18, allowing Ca Macedo to retake the lead. Shortly after, Haudenschild and Kofoid slid each other lap after lap in a battle for fourth. A caution for Daum came out on lap 33. Armitage also had his seventh place run end with a trip to the work area. Balog spun on the restart, and on the second try, Williamson and Nienhiser got together. Moran was running ninth at the time and had to fix a flat. At this point, officials called for an open red. Ca Macedo led Bayston, Co Macedo, Kofoid and Haudenschild back to green. Haudenschild shot into fourth on the restart. Gravel entered the top five with four to go, as rubber was laid. Ca Macedo went on to the win worth $12,000. Axsom was the hard-charger.
