FREMONT, Ohio – Brent Marks finally shed the bridesmaid role Monday, July 13 at Fremont Speedway Fueled by the FriendShip Kitchen, claiming his first ever win at the track and his first Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing win of 2026.

The Myerstown, Pennsylvania driver had five runner-up finishes coming into Monday’s Hollywood Casino Toledo High Stakes Showdown at “The Track That Action Built.” He led all 35 laps at Fremont for the Roto-Rooter Midweek Series event, besting Justin Peck, 13th starter Aaron Reutzel, Kerry Madsen and Giovanni Scelzi. Marks took over the point lead for the midweek series.

Across seven High Limit events in June, Marks' #19 recorded six top-five finishes including runner-up results at Davenport, Red Cedar, Dacotah, and Shelby County. Outside of High Limit action, Marks thrived with a World of Outlaws victory at Knoxville Raceway, a NARC 410 win at Skagit Speedway, and a runner-up finish worth more than $50,000 in the Super Dirt Cup.

“This is freaking awesome. I’ll admit it…I wasn’t expecting my first win of the year with High Limit to come here at Fremont. That was a lot of fun. That was so tricky. The track was slick and required a lot of finesse and just trying to find which part of the race track I needed to be at to get around lapped cars. Hats off to the track crew for giving us a racy track. This builds momentum. The first part of the year was tough to say the least. Once the end of May and June rolled around we turned this whole program around. I have great guys behind me,” said Marks beside his McGrewbid.com, Baps Paint, K&L Utilities, Live Wire Customs backed #19.

Fremont Speedway Fueled by the FriendShip Kitchen will be back in action Saturday, July 25 with the All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads/Kistler Racing Products Attica Fremont Championship Series presented by the Baumann Auto Group 410 sprints, the Real Geese Decoys/Real Capz AFCS 305 sprints and the Burmeister Trophy Dirt Trucks in action.
