Marks Earns Second Greg Hodnett Classic Win, Sets Sights on $100k Bob Weikert Memorial Sunday
PORT ROYAL, PENN. (July 25, 2026) - Even though he may now be a full-time national touring star on the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing trail, "The Myerstown Missile" still feels right at home when he comes to "The Speed Palace."
A former track champion at Port Royal Speedway, Brent Marks scored his 17th career win at the Central Pennsylvania track on Saturday night. Doing so in dominant fashion, he led all 25 laps to cash a $15,000 check and his second score in the Greg Hodnett Classic.
The win made Marks the sixth man to reach double digit wins with the series - following in the footsteps of Rico Abreu (29), Kyle Larson (15), Aaron Reutzel (15), Brad Sweet (14), and Corey Day (14).
His Brent Marks Racing #19 outfit is now the sixth team in 2026 to make multiple Whiskey Myers Victory Lane trips - joining the Ridge & Sons Racing #87 (8 wins), the Silva Motorsports #57 (6 wins), the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing #24 (4 wins), the Jason Meyers Racing #14 (3 wins), and the Rod Gross Motorsports #88 (2 wins).
Making it a High Roller 1-2 in Posse land, Justin Peck followed Brent Marks to the stripe on Saturday night. It was his fourth runner-up and seventh podium of the season as he and the Rudeen Racing #26 team continue chasing their first series win of 2026.
Leading the way for the PA Posse with a third-place finish was Anthony Macri, fresh off his Kings Royal triumph from a week ago. Right behind him was another pair of Posse standouts with Ryan Smith in the Kreitz Racing #69K and Chase Dietz in the Stehman Motorsports #23 on his heels.
Closing out the top-10 on Saturday was Logan Wagner, Rico Abreu, Aaron Reutzel, Tyler Courtney, and Kerry Madsen.
All of the attention now turns to Sunday at Port Royal as the track hosts the second-ever six-figure payday in Pennsylvania's long and storied history of Sprint Car Racing. The $100,000-to-win finale will feature a unique format involving inverts and points to determine who lines up at the front of the feature with the iconic bull-head trophy on the line.
