With a prediction of rain, things started earlier and ran through without delay.
The 55 drivers were separated into two groups for qualifying, with the first making up heats one through three, and group two comprising heats four through six. Rico Abreu (23rd car out to time) set quick time in the first group and overall at 15.368 seconds on the half, mile. He earned $1,000 from Packer Concessions. Brent Marks (27th car out) was second quick, followed by Brian Brown (22nd), James McFadden (21st) and Tanner Thorson (17th). Chase Dietz (6th car out) led the second group, ahead of Daison Pursley (1st), Ryan Smith (20th), Aaron Reutzel (25th) and Ryan Timms (17th).

8-lap heats had a “true” invert of four and took the top three to the feature. The heat winners redrew for the top six spots in the feature. Cameron Smith had what appeared to be electrical issues and was unable to start from his pole position, restacking the whole heat. The lead trio was established early and stayed that way throughout.
Heat two (started): 1. 55W, Logan Wagner (1); 2. 19, Brent Marks (4); 3. 48, Danny Dietrich (7) / 4. 7BC, Tyler Courtney (2); 5. 88, Tanner Thorson (3); 6. 47K, Kody Lehman (9); 7. 19M, Brett Strickler (8); 8. 42, Sye Lynch (5); 9. 51, Freddie Rahmer (6)
Courtney led early over Wagner, Marks and Thorson. Wagner shot by Courtney on lap two to take the lead, while Dietrich took fourth from Thorson. Marks worked the low side of turn four to pass Courtney for second on lap four. Rahmer shred a left rear tire and spun backwards into the wall five laps in. Lynch stopped a lap later when Lehman got into the back of him on the restart. He retired. Dietrich used that second restart to gain the final transfer spot from Courtney, completing a run from row four.

Kahne led Scelzi and Dietz throughout. Rumsey took fourth from Reutzel on lap two. Shearer exited early.

Whittall was penalized a row for jumping from the outside of row one. It ended up costing him a transfer.

The 8-lapper took the top two to the B. Walter led Campbell, Watt and Lynch early. Lynch took third from Watt on lap two, before Watt stopped to bring a caution. Miller spun on the restart. Lynch used a slider in turn four to take the final transfer from Campbell on lap four. Miller spun again a lap later and exited. Newlin earned the $1,000 Warrior Award from Sandy Kline.

The 12-lapper took the top six to the feature. Brown led Pursley, Whittall, Newton, Courtney and Rumsey early. On lap two, Newton shot from fourth to second. On lap three, Rumsey cruised by Courtney for fourth, but Tyller returned the favor a lap later. Peck earned $1,000 from Sandy Kline and her Warrior money.

The 50-lapper would pay $59,000 to win. Sams shot out to the early lead from the pole, ahead of Hartlaub, Kahne, Wagaman and Holmes. Holmes gained fourth from Wagaman on lap two. Kahne passed Hartlaub for second on lap four. Holmes slid under Kahne to take second on lap 10, starting a great battle. Kahne gained the spot back on lap 14, before Holmes stayed in second for good on lap 15. McFadden was on the move and was fifth by lap 16. Holmes passed Sams on the high side to take the lead on lap 16, but that was negated when Price-Miller came to a stop. Sams led Holmes, Kahne, Wagaman and Macri back to green. Holmes did gain the lead on the restart, while McFadden shot into fourth. On lap 18, it was evident that McFadden was on a role and drove from fourth to second. Timms was up to sixth, but slowed to a stop on lap 19 and the defending champ retired. Holmes led McFadden, Sams, Wagaman and Kahne back to green. McFadden slid under Holmes in turn two to take the lead. Wagaman gained third, and Rico fifth. On lap 22, Abreu gained fourth from Sams. On lap 23, Dietrich, who started 17th, moved into the top five. The mandatory caution came on lap 25. After a five minute break in which tire changes were allowed for the first time, McFadden led Holmes, Wagaman, Abreu and Dietrich back to green. Abreu split Holmes and Wagaman to go from fourth to second, while Kahne moved into fifth. Marks gained speed late and got by Kahne for fifth on lap 31. On lap 33, Wagaman moved under Holmes for third. Holmes returned the favor two laps later, and then rode the cushion around Abreu to take second with 14 to go. A caution for Newton with 12 to go, also saw light rain falling. Things continued with McFadden leading Holmes, Abreu, Wagaman and Marks. Marks shot to fourth on the restart, while the lead trio could have a blanket thrown over them for several laps. McFadden entered lapped traffic with two to go, as Marks gained third. McFadden’s win was redemption for destroying a pair of cars in tough fashion the first two nights and gave a PA car owner a Tusky for the first time in a few years. Randall was the Warrior Award $1,000 winner from Sandy Kline. Pursley was the hard-charger.
